Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Take Me Where I've Never Been

I know I am not supposed to open doors to anyone I do not know. Uncle Azrael informs me that it is not just for my safety, but for his own as well. As a Dark Hunter he has killed many and made plenty of enemies that would like to get their revenge. I'd be the perfect pawn and really I am not afraid of such things. Mother and Father made a lot of enemies and they didn't do anything wrong in this world. So, having to look over my shoulder isn't a surprising thing. Yet now that I have to look out for supernatural creatures, well, that just made things not only interesting but slightly difficult. Even though I do not know Frost very well I do not doubt my safety around him. He had been kind to me in the Park. A bit vague, but still kind. As he explains his ability to find me I frown slightly. As I tilt my head, my long flowing blonde hair seems to cascade perfectly down my shoulder as I peer up at him. My voice remains calm and steady, methodical in my reasoning, because I know he is up to something...but I don't know what quite yet.

"But horses were not bred to track unlike canines. As for heat signature aren't humans' body temperature is a standard 98.6 Fahrenheit...so do I have something particularly different than the others?"

Naturally I shut the door as he enters and return to swiftly locking all five locks. As he begins to observe the very dingy small living room I head towards the kitchen and get to work. It does not bother me to provide him tea. After all he came to have some polite conversation and I didn't mind such a thing. I'm actually kind of happy he is here. It is a bit dull living with an 80-year-old relative that seemed to have some sort of inability to control his emotions. One minute he is content and the next he goes off flying off the panhandle if I said or did something displeasing in his mind. I do not know many here and it is nice to be in the company of someone near my age. As I pour him a cup of tea I place at least one lump of sugar. Mother and Father did tell me that if I wanted to look good I had to eat well and so my amount of sugar intake was extremely low. Although I should have known better that my friend would be different. One eye brow is raised as he begins to place a few more lumps of sugar and I cannot help but place a gentle smirk on my face.

"That much sugar...is it a side effect?"

I mean come on it really isn't that hard to see. He was part horse and that means he will pick up some habits. Uncle Azrael told me that some Weres will act like their other half sometimes. It was what made them such a disease in society. There were even some that could not act properly and they succumbed into their animalistic nature. While he thought it was despicable I found it to be sad. To walk upon this earth torn in two, it must be painful, but Frost does not seem to have such a bad inability. If sugar was his downfall then it wasn't too bad, because really, it could be worse. While I allow myself to sit at the kitchen table I am not aware that I had left space between us. The last time I was in his presence I was actually sitting right on top of him while he laid on a bench. It was weird, different, a bit uncomfortable and yet I would do nothing of the sort to let him know that. I held my own.

I am not one to shy away or be afraid of something. As I sip my tea quietly I do not flinch as he begins to be so direct. I play the warm red mug between my hands as my arm lays on top of the kitchen table. I find it peculiar that he seems so interested with why I am here with Uncle Azrael. My Uncle mentioned he had no friends, mainly enemies, and I wasn't sure if Frost would be considered a threat to him. I should have told him something and yet I wasn't concerned for Frost. I mean my Uncle could kill him and I wasn't one that wanted blood on my hands. Once more I appear controlled as I give him another pleasant smile speaking ever so carefully.

"Thank you for your concern, but he is family. As for me becoming a Hunter I have no interest. From what I understand it isn't your fault you were born like you are. I think only those that killed or harmed others should be put down â€" You haven't inflicted pain or death on another human or supernatural creature....have you?"
