Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale
Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.
Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.
Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.
River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.
It had been far too long since the feline had indulged in such a decadent treat, the delicate mixture of salty caramel and sweet bananas something she was more than happy to lose herself in for the moment. That comfortable silence that befell the pair in the wake of her query as to just how her own supernatural might interact with the bond the two would soon share. The idea that the delicious treat so closely mirrored the flavor of her blood to the vampire beside her something that rather thrilled Carolina in some way, much less feeling the heavy weight of his gaze upon her as she enjoyed it. Only the satiny smooth tones of his voice the only thing capable of drawing her from that food-induced bliss.
His request however was one that gave her pause even as she relished the remnants of her last bite, her reticence obvious even if playful as she inquired about the quid pro quo of his request. The near devilish curve of his debonaire smile at his promise to always make it worth her while sending a pleasant and familiar jolt of electricity down her spine even as she acquiesced. Languidly moving to cut a piece of her coveted dessert even as she dabbed it into the extra whipped cream she had requested and topped with one of those caramelized bananas before extending it towards her companion. That singular syllable uttered as she leaned in towards him enough to catch a whiff of his cologne while their eyes met.
That proximity giving quite the view as Sebastian drew his own blood with fangs sharper than any knife, watching as but a few drops spilled onto the chocolate covered morsel atop his fork before the self-inflicted wound healed over once more. Her nose twitched at the scent of fresh blood, though it was unlike any she had scented before. The leopard was no stranger to blood, having tasted animal and human alike but never vampire and she wondered just how it would taste and if judging by his words she would be thankful for the chocolate subduing it. She paused as he offered it to her, recalling that he had mentioned they would need to trade blood for the bond to be complete.
Shifting slightly she held out her own wrist over that crepe, assuming it would be necessary for what Sebastian had in mind though unsure if he would sprinkle it atop her offering as he had her own or simply take it from the source. She left this up to him as she leaned forward and wrapped her mouth around that fork, chocolate lingering on her lips as she took every bit of the crepe he had offered though her eyes never deviated from the Prince's face. She could taste his blood around the chocolate, slightly familiar and yet stale in a way that hinted at its recycled nature. Still she savored it, chewing it slowly as she awaited his own part in this.
