Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale
Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.
Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.
Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.
River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.
How utterly compliant William had become in the aftermath of his outburst. Hauling the Hunter to his feet was hardly difficult, the Englishman was almost despondent as Alexander attempted to shove him out of the office. He had only just managed to get William stumbling towards the door when his Godson lunged at the Hunter, that Italian lit almost held a hint of menace within it. Though Dorian was hardly one prone to violence, Sebastian's safety was, perhaps, the only thing that might coax back the anger that had once run rampant within the Monarch. Thankfully, Aiden was nothing short of capable of holding his brother back whilst Alexander dragged William from the room. He shoved the Hunter down the first few steps, though William seemed quick to get the hint, his further 'encouragement' hardly required even if Will was trembling like a leaf by the time they had reached the kitchen at the bottom of the stairs. At first, Alexander paid William little heed, his attention wholly focused upon Charles as the elder Hunter instructed the Were to fetch the head of Dorian's security team. For a moment, Charles seemed to hesitate, the manservant's gaze lingered upon the bloody Hunter at Alexander's side.
How well the Macedonian King remembered every word spoken in his last encounter with the younger Hunter. He knew well who William was, what William had done, and, more or less, exactly how the Englishman's affinity worked. Considering the events that had transpired, it seemed unlikely the Hunter had learned how to control his capabilities and yet, Alexander inquired all the same if William was even aware of what he had just done. For a moment, Will seemed to hesitate before those words slowly began to leave the fellow's lips. His words, however, were cut off abruptly before he turned, opening the touchless trash can beside him only to empty the entire contents of his stomach within it. A soft, audible sigh left Alexander's lips as he watched the Hunter. His arms crossed over his chest while he slowly leaned back against the countertop behind him, simply watching in silence as William sank to the tiled floor beside the island. His arms wrapped carefully around his knees in an upright fetal position, the very gesture so wholly...vulnerable for the man who was supposed to be the mass-murdering terror of Victorian England. Frankly, Alexander wasn't sure which he preferred - the broken man in front of him or the deranged one that thought himself invincible.
He was silent as he listened to the whimpering upon William's lips as the Hunter insisted he hadn't meant to hurt Sebastian - though arguably the damage done to the vampire was...minimal at best. Alexander watched as William leaned his head against his knees, his voice almost muffled as he continued to inform the Macedonian that he had been held by 'them' the 'whole time'. Frankly, William was lucky Matteo had largely filled him in on the conversation between Sebastian and Dorian or that explanation would have been...far from informative. Alexander was vaguely aware of the sound of footsteps upon the staircase, though he hardly interrupted William as the young man's gaze turned upwards to meet his blue-green eyes. That soft beseeching upon William's lips was heard by all three men as Matteo and Aiden joined them. Alexander's head shook ever so slightly as his gaze flickered towards Matteo - the Frenchman far more focused with washing his hands than the sad heap of a hunter in front of Alexander. That snort of amusement from the fae hardly went unnoticed as Matteo felt inclined to intrude upon the conversation at hand. Still, it was clear to Alexander just how little William remembered if he thought Sebastian had met his true death from a would like that. "You stabbed him in the side, William." The Dark Hunter informed his companion, fully expecting the younger Hunter to understand exactly what that meant.
It was fortunate for William, however, that Matteo felt far more generous with putting those pieces together for the Englishman, even as he dried his hands upon the paper towel he ripped from the roll. It was the fae's insistence of his greatness, however, that caused the Dark Hunter's eyes to roll. Matteo moved towards him, only to reach towards the trash can beside William. "Matteo, I wouldn't --" Those words had hardly left his lips before the Frenchman opened the trash can, releasing the foul scent inside only to abruptly close the lid again. "Told you." He muttered softly with a vague hint of amusement upon his features. A soft chuckle left his lips at Matteo's exasperation, only for the Frenchman to shove the entire trashcan within William's direction. It was the baritone of his grandson's voice, however, that caused Alexander to glance upwards at those striking emerald eyes, only for Alexander to nod in agreement. "Aiden's right, he'd probably be useless to us in the cavalry right now but...I doubt Dorian will allow you to even see Sebastian again until you can prove you can at least control yourself...so what do you want to do, Mr. Holloway?" Alexander inquired, his gaze turned back down towards William with one brow risen. After all, the Macedonian Monarch was not one to waste his time on 'prisoners'. William had to want to be there or any efforts would be meaningless. That offer, however, was unlikely to come again, not if William turned it down not once but twice.
