Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

hold onto this lullaby;

Hold on to this lullaby; even when the music's gone
There is something about a shared memory that causes Claire to smile, her eyes lighting up as if grasping onto an item that could connect them however briefly. She is silent for a long while as he seemed to drop into his own thoughts while she skimmed the surface of hers, content to wallow in the here and now. His chuckle pulls her back, she'd forgotten she'd even asked such a question. "Iâ€"find I do like these...talks," She says, she isnt sure what else to call them. This such knowledge of the outside world is something she would find valuable and helpful in the end.

His question catches her off guard though, "Out with boys?" She queries, her brow furrowing as she pulled down some plates for them. She points at him then, "You are the first boy I have seen. One who is not Blood," She chooses to ignore the one whose death she had caused and her sister's mate didn't count. She is standing closer then, her hip leaning against the table as he asked about the coffee and she could only eye it with a suspicious glance before nodding, "Okay," she responds with an eager nod of her head, lifting the mug from his hands.

She raises it to her nose first, inhaling the scent of it and finding it pleasing as she always did. She takes a tentative sip then, perfectly fine with the barest of tastes but then she tries again and she pulls back almost spilling it over the rim. "Howâ€"how do you drink that stuff?" It is said almost indignantly as if wondering why he would torture her so. It felt like she'd taken hundreds of those little beans and shoved it all into the cupâ€"which they did, didn't they?â€"and then had said 'oh look, it's tasty' well, it was not tasty. She did not appreciate this drink. She pushes the cup back towards him with a twisted look on her face as the food was finally placed in front of them.

She frowns for a moment as she considers his words, "So we use these human forms--" She gestures at them both, "--to hide who we truly are? We should not have to hide." Her bottom lip was pulled into her mouth as she chewed on it for a moment, pulled back from that thought when he spoke about humans and trying to put a saddle on him and her eyes grow large and she gasps, "No." As if, how could they be so stupid? She was sure there were humans who desired foxes as their companions, they share similar traits with canines.

He mentions his gifts again and she could only be curious, grabbing up the pan of quiche and some forks and leaving the plates where they lay and following him outside. She is eager to help, always eager to please and to accept praise.

"Where do you want me?" She asks, putting down the food on a nearby surface and turning to face him, an inquisitive look in her eyes.
