Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale
Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.
Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.
Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.
River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.
As he stepped closer to the tub, the fae man could feel his fiance's eyes roaming over his body and he didn't mind at all. That is, until he saw the scowl forming on her luscious lips. He knew he'd have to tell her how Kit totally kicked his ass at paintball, but at least he might get some nurturing for tonight. He didn't have the fast healing like she did, but no doubt the bruises would fade in time. Troy melted into the tub, enjoying her presence and the peaceful atmosphere. When she moved to straddle his hips, though, he suddenly felt wide awake and ready for anything. His hands immediately found her hips as if they belonged there and his eyes were hungry when they looked back into her own dark mirrors. She admitted she wanted him before pushing her lips to his. Troy was all too happy to oblige with a groan filled with longing as his fingers trailed up the soft skin of her back. "Just the way I like it." He murmured as they finally pulled away from each other. When she brought up the impending wedding, he could only smirk. "I thought I had slipped some green/yellow camo into that theme. You sure?" His eyes softened though as if in apology. The last thing he wanted to do was ruin her special day cause he knew she'd been working hard to make it magical for both of them. As she put her wrist to her mouth, he inhaled a little, already knowing what she was going to do. He didn't have the gut wrenching feeling of revulsion he used to when it came to vampires. If anything, the thought of Amelia's blood did things to him he never thought possible. As the rich red colored her beautiful skin, his mouth started to water. She told him to drink and he gave a small smile. "As you wish, my love." Slowly he lowered his mouth to her wrist, his tongue lapping across her flesh as he drank. |
