What You'll Find Here

Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Gonna Have A Good Day

"Yes mom..." Kenji stuttered out, walking down the sidewalk with his eyes darting around. The sun felt like it was trying to cut through the clouds a couple times. Sun shine would be welcome at this point. Listening to his mother and father carry on. He could understand that they were a bit nervous about him being in a new city, so far away. Before Kenji had even set foot in Sacrosanct, his family was currently overseas in Japan. It was the seasonal trip they always took.
Though seasonal wasn't really the proper word choice. With every season change, they'd manage to travel out to see his relatives in Japan. It was often quite tiring having to travel so much and take so much time off to make the trip that lasted weeks. Though Kenji didn't mind the trips so often. Meant he could connect with his side of heritage. Even learn more of the Japanese language.

Though he'd only use the generic and most basic phrases to get back. Which honestly was enough to get by. Didn't need to carry on full conversations. Though Kenji often would find himself caught in the midst of one. His friends Ichi and Kasuka though? They were godsents for Kenji. Naitive to Japan and were bilingual as well, so they'd often help with translating for him when servers, cooks or passers would stop to converse. It was always a good time in Japan.
"Mom, I do thank you for paying for the apartment while I look for work, but I'm fine. I promise. I'm used to living on my own." Kenji was quite fervent in his words, trying to make sure his mother was reassured. She was a worrisome type. His dad not so much.
"I- Yes, Dad already let me know. Thank you... Ok. Love you too!"
Kenji hung up and put his phone back in his pocket, and strolled around his neighbor. He did this to get a feel for his new home. He even did it when he was in Japan, even though he visited the same prefecture.

His naturally dark hair seemed to have a slight glisten to it. Sloshing the iced coffee in his hand, he continued to dart his eyes back and forth. This seemed to be a pretty cozy little neighborhood. Comparable to his other home his folks went back to after their visit to Japan.
It suddenly hit him though as he went to take a sip of his coffee, his eyes went wide.
"Damn it. I missed the last of the Cherry Blossom Blooming. Gah.. Guess I could always ask Mom and Dad for some photos since they managed to see the last few."
Kenji also knew he missed the Cherry Blossom Festival too. When it was time for the festival, it was the only time he couldn't make it. The whole family got sick.
"Hmm... I'll make due sometime. Wonder if this town has a similar festival."
He'd keep walking and pulled out his phone. Maybe, just maybe he'd find something on the internet about it.
