Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Whether it was because the petite woman was were or not, the recognition that something was upsetting her friends only made her all the more sensitive to their scents and shifts in demeanor. Admittedly, it had taken her some significant effort not to follow the dark hunger up those stairs and see if he might allow her to ask why it was that he's had such a drastic mood shift from seeming content one moment and being overwhelmed by what she was currently suspecting to be some sort of... social anxiety, or maybe just general anxiety? From the moment she'd first seen him, the were woman could remember the melancholy that clung to him, the heaviness unknown to her shrouding the man in a dense fog that surely any who might have thought to try and understand him would have gotten lost in. He'd been alone that evening, before Ren and the twin huntresses had very nearly stumbled across the man. And, from the lack of photographs throughout the townhouse of Bo's past, she wonders if he'd been alone all his life, or at least most of it. It had been something she'd wondered of yet hadn't really had a chance to ask him about. How else was she to understand her companion, find what it was that has troubled him and hope to help bring even just a little light to at least let him know that he didn't need to be alone anymore if the hunter fought so fiercely against allowing a soul into his own?

Equally as concerning to the petite woman was when May very nearly collapses into Raven's arms. Ocean-blue eyes hadn't missed the weariness in her, but all the same, it had still been entirely alarming to think that the young woman would have been so overcome by exhaustion in such a sudden manner. And again, the were woman finds that pull on her very heart and spirit to follow the sisters upstairs just to make sure that May would have everything she needed to rest peacefully. Sharing a room with the huntresses, Ren had become rather aware of their seemingly restless spirits, and while she did her best to give them privacy during most of their morning and nightly rituals, it was hard for her to ignore the shuffling of soft sheets as they slept. It was the were in Ren that felt something each night seeming to settle over the huntresses, and just as with Bo, she hardly knew anything about their past and in turn could not name what it was that seemed to trouble them. While it seemed as though none of them were likely aware of exactly how closely those ocean-blue eyes watched them, there was no denying that the were woman could feel the unease surrounding their auras. She looks worriedly towards the huntresses as they disappear up the stairs not long after Bo, and despite the concern glittering within her oceanic gaze, she refused to leave Tip alone in the kitchen.

Leading him further into the kitchen and towards the dining table, the were woman pushes her worries to the back of her mind. For now, the one who needed her attention was the young man with her. What kind of hostess would she be if she allowed for those worries to distract her from making sure that he was comfortable and fed after whatever it was that they'd come home from? She's entirely aware of his gaze and the sense of confusion or uncertainty that falls from his frame, those were senses once again informing the petite woman that while he did not seem nearly as troubled as Bo, Raven, and May, he was still trying to understand everything that was happening around him. This was understandable, especially since Ren, too, was also trying to grasp at why this evening was... well, so unusual compared to the last few evenings they'd spent together, the foursome still very much learning about each other. And yet, it was almost strange to the petite woman that she felt as though she knew Tipson more, remembering those nights they would spend rather recently, the young man having opened up to her more then - even though he clearly considered her nothing more than a friendly feline on those nights. This was why she found it so easy to smile warmly at the young man even in light of his uncertainty of her, the puzzlement with which he'd regarded her when she'd greeted him.

Patiently watching the young man take what he wanted from the food, his voice is almost nonchalant as he waves away the idea that there had been any trouble. While the bruises around his neck and the blood splatter on Bo's clothes screamed that there had in fact been trouble, Ren hardly challenges Tip as he goes on to say that it had only been a matter of poor timing, pausing in his words as though to correct himself. This has her smiling brightly at the man again, finding his desire to avoid vulgar language in front of her very much endearing. This was certainly not a side to him that she'd seen before, but then again, Ren had a feeling that there was so much more to Tip than he'd shown her before and even now. Her smile fades into a concerned expression as he continues, revealing that undead had been after him, the were woman wholly understanding now how it was that Bo had become involved. The hunter was hardly the type to let such things go unpunished, partly because it was in his very nature to protect that delicate balance between mortal and immortal and partly because it was who he was at heart. Beyond being a hunter, Bo was kind and selfless. This she didn't have to witness or be told. She could feel it. Somehow, whether it be her animalistic intuitiveness or something far beyond that innate sensitivity, Ren just... knew. And it was in knowing this that Ren only wanted to help Bo more...

"Well, whatever the case, I'm -", the were woman begins to say, about to express that Fate and Fortune had certainly been on Tipson's side when Bo arrived to help ward off the young man's assailants. However, it had been the sound of Raven's approach that pulled Ren's attention away from Tipson. Naturally, she'd heard the huntress shuffling around upstairs, though doing what the were woman didn't know, but when she reminds the were woman of the sounds she'd heard earlier from Bo's room, ocean-blue eyes soften with resurfaced concern, hardly taking any offense or genuine consideration for the implication that she would have given the hunter something to upset his stomach."I'll have to make him some tea or something later that might help...", she says thoughtfully then as the huntress walks towards the dining table, settling down in her usual seat. Pushing her concerns for Bo aside for the time being, she watches as Raven takes that first bite, the ebony-haired woman seeming to find that single mouthful utterly palatable. Eagerly, her friend very nearly shovels more into her mouth, bringing a bright smile to Ren's lips when Raven smiles, offering that compliment softly."I'm glad you like it! It's my mother's recipe, one of the first she learned after we moved to the states", she replies warmly, her gaze softening at the memory.

As Raven's gaze meets the were woman's, the huntress suddenly begins choking. Immediately and perhaps almost instinctively, the petite woman is pushing out of her seat and walking over to he companion, worry illuminating her face as she begins firmly patting with a slender yet sure hand. She is so focused upon Raven that she doesn't fully register Tipson having made his way to this side of the table, entirely unsure of how to help. Yes, perhaps it would be worthwhile to invest in a first aide class for the foursome. Even if the others were knowledgeable, a refresher never hurts. While she hadn't really had to rescue anyone recently, Ren was entirely aware of how to assist in this moment. Soon, the rather frightening moment passes, just before the were woman is thinking she might have to perform the Heimlich on her friend, Ren breathing a soft sigh of relief and shifting her gestures from firm patting to gentle, massaging rubs as the huntress gathers herself. Raven's voice is cracked ever so slightly from the sudden bout of coffee, but her words have the were woman's ocean-blue eyes softening as she smiles warmly at the huntress."Maybe you should slow down a little on the food. There'll be plenty left over", she says then, a gentle note of humor in her voice. Before she can move back to her own seat, keen and sensitive ears catch the sound of Bo's door opening.

Giving a small nod to the group as Tipson begins answering Raven's inquiry of the night's evenings which had resulted in one beaten-up Tipson and one blood-splattered Bjorn, Ren watches the hunter move into the living room where he places his sheets, a pillow, and his sword. She doesn't linger there beside Raven for long, instead moving to prepare a plate for Bo and walking over to the microwave, although she keeps part of her attention on Tipson as he explains the rest of the... incident.. Between this small gathering of misfits, it was the hunter who needed the warm meal most. At least, this was what Ren believed. Once the plate had been warmed through, she walks back over to the table and places it in front of the seat he typically chose. Finally, she settles back into her own seat beside Tipson only moments before Bo joins them, the were woman smiling gently back to him in wordless answer to his own, but chooses to say nothing as she watches him for a moment. Her heart warms immensely as the man's face seems to share the same expression as Raven's when she'd taken that first bite, telling the petite woman that he equally enjoyed it. She lived for those small moments where a smile would touch his or Raven's face. It was just one of thing that let her know there was still a soul somewhere within them that wanted a light in the dark, even if they might not be aware of it.

It was then that Tipson mentions the bed trimmings on the couch, Ren simply looking between the two men curiously as she begins eating.
