Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

I know some things should just stay broken

i'm well aware this should remain unspoken

Henry's hand extended towards him as his ex stood over him and slowly, Sterlings fingers reached out to fit snugly in his once lover's palm. He was pulled gingerly from the floor, the boy all but clinging to the familiar figure at his side - it was as if he feared letting go of Henry might result in his balance wavering. He hardly expected Henry's suggestion of a shower and yet...the idea didn't sound terrible. In fact, the hot water might be exactly what he needed. "...okay." Sterling agreed after a moment's thought, his hand reaching out for the wall beside the shower, releasing his grip upon his boyfriend. Henry hardly wasted any time in fetching him a fresh towel, the shower turned on with a flick of his wrist. The heat from the water began to fill the small enclosed space with water vapor, fogging the mirror and filling Sterling's lungs. There was something...nice about it though, something that helped put the queasiness in his stomach at ease. His head bobbed as Henry offered to make him tea, though he stopped his ex before the man managed to completely leave the bathroom - "I think...there's one in the top part of the cupboard that has ginger in it...maybe that one?" He suggested, offering Henry a weak simper.

It was only once the door behind Henry closed that Sterling finally reached for his sweat slicked shirt. The fabric was deposited on the floor, followed quite quickly by his boxers. Carefully, Sterling stepped into the shower, letting the warmth and wetness wash over him. He stayed there for nearly half an hour, letting the nausea in his stomach settle, washing away all of the grime and sweat and vomit till he felt almost...normal again. He stepped out of the shower, drying himself off before wrapping the towel around his waist. Neither man, it seemed, had considered clean clothing. It hardly mattered though, not when Sterling was certain he'd head the tea kettle's familiar screech not long ago. His bare feet pad across the rustic floors and into the kitchen. "...is the tea done?" Sterling inquired softly, his gaze settling upon his ex's figure.
