Anacosta Heights

Hawethorn Village

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Scarlett Trivale

My universe will never be the same.
I'm glad you came

Scarlett could hardly contain her excitement. She had been counting down the days until Saturday, the day Frost has asked her to come over and see if she could help his recently turned pack mate who seemed to be struggling with the transition from human life to Were life; Well today was Saturday. For awhile since their meeting, the young werewolf had been nervous about the proposition, her mind wondering if she could truly help this girl of if she could offer the other nothing more than unneeded stress and confusion. Thankfully the wolf was optimistic by nature and had several days in order to settle mind. She would not leave that house without the knowledge she had helped Calliel, no matter how small that was.

The girl could also not contain her excitement in seeing her new friend (he may not, to her knowledge, use that label, but she already considered him her friend) Frost again. The stallion intrigued her and she could not deny she felt drawn to him in some way she could not grasp. The blonde haired man had sparked her sheer determination to befriend him through his closed off behavior, his walls would stand no match against the tiny girl who would slowly chip away at them until she could see through. It was instinct, after all, for her to care so deeply about the other Were. Was it the natural pack instinct that all wolves held already taking over her? Or was is something else entirely, slumbering within her until she stumbled upon it and awoke it for everyone else to see.

She awakes with a jump in her step, despite the cold temperatures that await her outside. The lithe frame dances through her apartment, clothed in only a tank top and her underwear, her preferred way to sleep. She grabbed a quick breakfast from her fridge before skipping to her room to get dressed in warm clothes and make herself presentable; luckily for Scarlett, she was naturally beautiful and needed little to no makeup to take the breath away from any man that looked at her. When she was completely content, she scurried out the door, almost forgetting to grab her phone, keys, and snacks she had made for Frost and his pack in her excitment. Luckily she remembered in time and avoided a potential disaster.

The cold air hit her the second she stepped outside from her apartment complex, forcing her face deeper into her scarf like a turtle. She gripped the goodies she had made for Frost's pack tightly in her hands as she shivered, her breath clouding in front of her face. Her jacket managed to keep her somewhat warm as she walked, but she would be much more content when she made it to his place. It wasn't that she disliked the cold winter air, in fact she loved it, it was just that in her human form, she had a hard time staying warm. Cold fingers quickly reached into her front pocket, pulling out the piece of paper with Frost's address on it he had given to her that day when he had challenged her to a race in the park and then kissed her.

Kissed her.

Yeah she was still trying to come to grips with that too. Every bit of that moment had ingrained itself into her memory, from the feel and taste of his lips upon hers to the way he sent warmth through out her body, how much she liked it. It made her face flush to think about it, and she couldn't stop herself from thinking about it, a lot. But that's what tended to happen you get your first kiss ever. Frost didn't know that he had given the girl her first kiss, and if she could keep herself from thinking about it when she saw him he may never know. That was the problem, making sure she didn't think about it at all, lest he read her mind and get that smirk across his lips like she had seen him do. The last thing she wanted to do was inflate his ego, so she shook it from her head and continued on, following her phones directions as she walked through the city streets.

Finally she was there, glancing at the address one and then at the house with a satisfied and successful smile. She'd made it, a little cold, but without any of Scarlett's famous accidents or incidents. She didn't like to talk about those, they were quite embarrassing to even think about. As she walked up the sidewalk, the soles of her shoes slipped on a part of the walkway slick with ice. She stumbled for a moment, eyes wide and desperately clinging to the back of goodies she held in her cold hands. After what seemed like forever, she regained her balance, managing to keep herself from falling and potentially sending the goodies flying in a great disaster that would probably make her cry; she had spent so much time making them for his pack, the last thing she wanted to do was ruin it right in front of his door.

More slowly this time, Scarlett walked the rest of the way to his front door, knocking on it with cold knuckles. She pulled her hands to her face, breathing hot air on them in hopes to warm them up a bit. As she waited, she sniffled, her nose chilled as it had been the most exposed to the cold air, and she was pretty sure she couldn't feel her toes anymore in her shoes. Regardless, this did not stop her excitement as it caused her to practically wiggle in front of the door, somehow managing to keep her thoughts from drifting back to the park,
