Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

While the girlish giggle was unexpected, it wasn't unpleasant, and Kato found he would be quite content to coax it from the feisty girl again. Her comment about having better earned a knowing grin from him with a soft 'hm' that clearly told that he didn't believe her. For now he'd let her have the last word as Kato had grown up learning that that was all that many women wanted anyways. He settled to leaning against the counter where they had just finished their fun with his new helping of lasagna. The pie was an afterthought, his attention on it only going so far as to smoosh her nose with the inside goop then helping eat out the middle portion of it. The lasagna was the true focus and as before he inhaled the portion while listening to Edie go on about her pack.

It was useful information to know, not that he had any intention of joining the pack, but being aware of species and how many members were in a pack was valuable. "Two foxes and two horses...scavengers and herbivores." Kato commented lightly with slight interest. "I should hope your pack have some useful affinities to protect yourselves. I've seen your contribution, healing...what about everyone else?" Again, it was good to know what it was that lurked about. However, Kato was also unaware of just how recent Edie's addition to the pack was so she may not know about all the powers the other members had.

His muscles tightened reflexively, his skin still very much awake from her touch, though his gaze remained on her as her finger grazed his chest. "Oh really?" Kato glanced towards the pie when Edie did so before looking back down at her. "Well..." He dipped his head to give her a quick kiss. "it tastes great on you." Kato chuckled as he stepped away from her to shovel the last few bites of lasagna into his mouth before pushing the plate away. Still swallowing the last bite, he nodded, "Lead the way." He was much more focused and willing now that he had a full stomach again.

Kato followed Edie from the kitchen back into the entryway where he gathered the boxes once more before continuing on upstairs. He paid close attention to every detail, glancing into every open door as they passed to learn what was within. Once they came to Edie's room he dropped the boxes just as unceremoniously on the floor by her door. "I suppose it's not too shabby." Kato smirked, brushing passed Edie to the large window she had spoken about with the view. He turned about on his heels, remaining there in front of the window as he took a glance around the room once more. "You have your basics, closet, desk...bed." There was a twitch at the corner of his lips as he spread his arms slightly in a sweeping gesture. "What more could you want?"
