Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

SOLO I FORTI VIVO

For once she didn't awaken to the sound of an alarm clock screaming in her ear. No, the huntress awoke to the stream of light breaking through her half curtained windows. It warmed her face and her eyes flickered open slowly. She stared at the window for a moment before finally rolling over and sighing lightly. Her body aches had all but gone, limbs feeling more flexible than they were last night while walking home. Her body wasn't like the others, it took her longer to heal than most. Her head felt clearer today, the migraine lessening from the constant use of her powers. Her head was beginning to be better at this conditioning thing and allowed her more chances to peek and longer peeks that it had years ago. Caprice turns, rolling up to sit and sliding her feet out from the covers as they come to land upon the cool wooden floor of the master bedroom. A knock upon her door and she grunts lightly, a sign that she is awake. The butler hustles in, the old man a welcome sight after a couple nights of a dirty hotel.

"I have made you chai tea, Ms. Ricci. Will you be planning on going on a job this morning?"

Henry knew her so well. Caprice smiled lightly, plush lips quirking upward as she nods gently. He nods in return, backing out of her room with his head lowered as he closed the double doors. Before she knows it, she has slid out of her clinging, navy blue nightgown and into some short, green Nike shorts and a plain white tank top. Her dark hair is pulled up into a tight ponytail, wisps already fighting to break free as she stares at herself in the steamed mirror. Slender hand lifts, wiping away more of the steam as she sighs lightly. This was her day off and yet, somehow, she knew something was going to occur this morning. Caprice turns from the mirror, grabbing her running shoes and heading out the bedroom door to the kitchen. The delicious smell of Henry's tea causes her to smile as she moves to the warm cup upon the island. She leans against the granite top, letting the tea warm her hands as Henry enters the scene.

"You were gone longer this time and your face is still bruised."

Capice sighed, a small smirk forming on her lip as she shrugs, lifting the mu to her lips and sipping quietly. He waits patiently, arms folded behind his back as he watches her intently, like a worried father would. "Weird how you've never once asked for a vacation, Henry. " A change of subject that he almost doesn't allow. He finally smirks in return, noticing how she isn't willing to discuss the matter, and turns to leave her. "I'm alright, Henry. Thank you for the tea. " Caprice says softly, toasting to him as he turns to offer her a nod and a half smile. That would do for now. She finishes the tea quickly, turning away from the room as she heads out of the door to start her morning jog.
