Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

The snorting laugh she offered assured the man that the woman had once more utterly underestimated her own state of inebriation, the girl struggling to her feet, placing a kiss upon his cheek as she did before heading towards the middle of the room. Truly the stallion was assured the girl believed her languid action graceful and yet in reality she was near incapable of maintaining a straight line, a simper tracing his lips once more and yet he sees no need to shatter her confidence as she kneels upon the ground. This, surely, would take her mind entirely away from the things she seemed determined to have and he is perhaps willing to give- if only he could be assured of her safety within it. Something he cannot do tonight. What little of his violet gaze can be seen lingers upon the woman as she proceeds to attempt to balance upside down. That she managed even that was a surprise to the man and yet her balance hardly lasted, the girl toppling to the ground in a flail of limbs and giggling laughter as he had anticipated she would, a soft chuckle resounding within his own chest. It was something of a marvel, truly, that the girl had managed not to collide with any of the furniture or tumble into the fire place, her feet kicking towards him playfully with an almost childish 'ta-da'.

"Yes, very impressive."

He assures her smoothly, allowing his lip to lift into a smile of sorts that ghosts along his features. He had believed, truly, that the girl had surely forgotten to dare him to do anything, else she might very well ask the same off him, the man holding some belief he could attempt a handstand if asked and yet an almost playful rendition of his moniker sees him pause. Frosty? He hadn't been called Frosty since his childhood, more than one of his playmates seeming to take delight in reciting 'Frosty The Snowman' until Frost had become so irritated with the song he had given Lucian a black eye. It was an old memory, one he has not called upon in years and yet one he finds himself smiling softly at all the same. Hmm, alcohol made him...soft, it would seem. Her dare, when it comes however, is not what he had anticipated, eyes narrowing slightly. The girl had a decidedly good memory, at least, when she desired something she was nothing short of determined- a pleasing trait really. He allows a sigh to pass his lips, looking down at the girl now.

"Like I did in the thingy...."

He muses the word, amused by it, despite himself, fingers once more taping against the arm of the chair as if contemplating the dare he has been afforded, briefly regretting having allowed her the opportunity to ask it of him before he moves to stand at last. He wanders easily towards the girl, collapsed upon the rug as she is, bending easily down beside her, speaking quietly.

"I think, Edie, that it's bedtime."

Given the opportunity the girl would surely be asleep within moments, much of the night lost upon her. Whether she would even remember playing this game he hardly knew and perhaps it was for the better. He moves abruptly to lift her from the ground, scooping her easily into his arms- after all- her current inability to walk was by his own hand, at least to an extent. It is easy, from this position, to help her find her feet once more, letting her down steadily and yet for just a moment longer he allows his grip to remain upon her, one hand resting on her hip to steady her, the other slightly higher upon her waist to prevent the girl toppling over.

"I truly dislike losing- at anything. Especially my own game."

He dips his head easily, capturing her lips with his own- this kiss as entirely real as the girl desired, moving to mimic the actions of his own illusion, adjusting his kiss easily to how her thoughts so revealed she craved to be kissed before softly pulling away.

"Now. Bed, Edie. Which room did you pick?"
