Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

The were girl was rather pleased with herself and the way her power worked so seamlessly in getting the male to lead her away from the building. It was her goal, after all, to distract him. Frost had needed to get the male out of the way for an hour or so, and so far Edie was doing an excellent job of doing that if she did say so herself. The garden that she had been pulled into was the perfect distraction. Deserted enough that no one would come across them, and far enough away that should the person Frost was speaking to come looking for him, there would be no finding him. It was almost... cute... the way that the boy swung their hands in that rather flirtatious manner. It was a shame, really, that she had no interest in the boy whatsoever. He was handsome, even Edie couldn't deny that, and yet she felt nothing but disgust towards him and his entire species.

The garden that they'd been pulled into was simple enough. Nothing extravagant, though she hardly expected it to be within the Western part of town. She hadn't been in the West since her encounter at the Ark, and even in the light of day, she wasn't impressed. It seemed easy enough to distract him, hardly offering much more of an effort than a command to make himself comfortable. She'd been distracted herself, working on inspecting the space rather than focused on the boy. She allowed herself to be pulled down beside him, batting her eyelashes as she settled beside him. She was unaware of the way her hold on him seemed to slip, the boy beginning to question her intentions rather than be enticed by her. Even his sudden grasp of her shirt, the girl abruptly pulled forward and against him didn't seem odd to the girl. Instead, she let out a girlish giggle, moving to adjust herself within his arms.

"Hm?" The girl asked, looking up to find the gaze of the man steady on her. Tilting her head slightly to the side, she spoke quietly. "What do you find strange, my darling..." She reached up, twirling her fingers in his hair once again as she spoke. The girl's hands were brought back swiftly at the words from the man, accusing her of the feelings that she felt rather than the ones she was attempting to act on. The question of what it was that she wanted... well, did he really think she was going to let her intentions be known that easily?

The girl could have chosen to use her delicate persuasion to try and draw him back to her, but no, that was too easy for this annoying bother of her time. She had only seconds to watch him as he stood up. No, if she let him leave this garden, he'd go straight home, and that would fail Frost. He was thin, nimble, the sword on his back indicating that he had some kind of training. But Edie was likely as strong as he, and had the element of surprise on her side. She moved quickly as the man stood, her leg swooping out to knock at the man's legs, sending him tumbling back to the grass. It took only seconds before she leapt forward, rolling with the man to pin him down to the earth. She straddled his hips, her hands moving to press her hands to his wrists, shoving down his arms against the grass. With his back against the ground there was no access to his sword, no way for him to fight back other than physical actions.

"Who I am is none of your god damn business, faerie," Edie said as she pressed her full weight down on the faerie.
