Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale
Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.
Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.
Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.
River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.
She hands him back his jacket, he smiles as she peeled it away from her body; it was big for her slender athletic frame. She begins to walk towards the apartment building, the blonde follows closely behind enjoying the view. He slows his steps as they continue on, his eyes darting away from her momentarily to get a quick look around. His blues would always fall back onto her figure as they continued their march. Reaching a set of steps he hears Andy murmur under her breath as her hands crawl down her shirt. She spins and requests his jacket, he hands it back to her without question or hesitation. He had half a mind of what the issue was and what her fix for it would be; but he said nothing, she was hell bent on doing things her way and he was not one to question her methods at her place. She wraps the leather around her hand, covering it completely and smashing through the glass window. It was obvious that she'd used this trick before. He grinned as he thought about how many windows her super had to fix since she'd lived here. Handing the jacket back, he waits patiently as she pushes herself through the window. He wanted to call out a 'be careful' to her; but she was a mortal who saw themselves at ten foot tall and bullet proof, she'd be fine. The sound of the lock opening resonates through his ears. She pops the door open and leans gently against the frame. He steps forward towards her, extending his arms out to wrap them around her hips, pulling himself closer to her. His blue eyes keep their hold on her before they wander around the entrance to her apartment for a few seconds. His gaze dropped back down to her, blue eyes fell into her ambers. Large arms snaked around her body, his fingertips danced over her hips and he rested them at the small of her back. A sly smile shot across his lips as he lowered his head, turning it slightly to brush his lips against the smooth skin of her neck. He listened in as her heartbeats grew more rapid, lips placing a quick kiss against her skin before he pulled his head away. The tone of his voice was lower and deeper as he spoke. "Do I get the nickel tour then or just the highlights?" He grinned, moving his frame into hers to back her into the apartment further. I sold my soul... just so I could feel paid. I broke my heart... so I couldn't feel pain. I lost my faith... 'cause I can't justify the weight. I've got no hope... that's only for losers and fakes. |
