Fae were not particularly knew to the young witch - she had done business with plenty before who wanted potions for this reason or another. Frankly, she knew better then to ask exactly what they intended to do with her creations. She had, however, never before met a fairy with actual wings. Those ebony bat like protrusions were the very definition of those pictures of demons that haunted her spell books, those creatures of the Satan some claimed she'd sold her soul to. It was a ridiculous notion, naturally, unless her mentor had been the devil incarnate and yet he had died easily enough. She still saw his ghost slinking through the corners of her townhome though he had taken to keeping to himself of late. Or maybe, acknowledging the gift she had been given was enough to keep him at bay for the time being. Either way, the girl was certain that whatever this was, he could hardly be of this world. Her stormy gaze remained steadfast upon him as he bowed so politely to her, clearly accepting willingly her power over him, at least, before the man saw fit to comment on how particularly rude it was for her to simply take the jacket that now adorned her shoulders.
She was all too keen to inform him that both he and his jacket now belonged to her if he truly was that demon she'd summoned to fix her roof. In truth, she was skeptical, really, if he really was that which she anticipated. That spell had been far too simple to call from the afterlife something like him, however, she'd yet to quite decide what he was if not that. That amusement within his voice caused her eyebrow to raise ever so slightly, her head tilted to the side as she watched him in an entirely studious fashion. She hardly expected, however, for the way in which he stepped forward, closing that distance between them till he was but a mere few inches away from her. Her neck shifted ever so slightly and yet, the young woman fearlessly met his dark eyes, so noting that devilish grin upon his features. Those softly spoke words were certainly heard and yet, Serafina hardly bothered to reply to him. Instead, the young witch was intently aware of the man - the way his breath was warm against his fair features, the smell of his cologne, the sharpness to those handsome features and those wings that she could only just barely see the tips of over his shoulders.
A soft huff left her lips as she turned away, calling behind her for him to follow as she continued with the whole reason she was out here in the cold so scantily clad. Gently, her voice called out to that young ghost, promising the girl that it was entirely okay and, in turn, encouraging the child to lead them further onwards. She led the way further into that forest, trailing after that ghastly figure that was all the more difficult to see now that the sun was beginning to rise. They were more powerful, she'd discovered, in those wee hours of night. It was all too likely the girl had not been strong enough to exist in those rays of day. Truly, she could only hope they arrived to where ever they were going soon enough. Softly, she glanced back at the man behind her, inquiring if she could see the female in any way. That certainty that left his lips caused her to pause, the simple fact that she'd assumed tossed in her face, those words momentarily saw her falter, enough so that Serafina had begun to wonder what else she had been incorrect of. She watched as those wings simply seemed to disappear, his head tilting to the side only to reveal those pointed ears. Weird. She'd never met a fae taller then herself...her eyebrows furrowed, her lips pressed together as he insisted that, really, it had almost been a compliment.
Still, she could hardly help that groan that left her lips.
