The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.
Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.
The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. The University welcomes the talent of students across the world to enroll and unlock their unlimited potential. With applications from across the nation, classes fill up quickly.

Mira would be lying if she didn't admit she wasn't a tad bit apprehensive about meeting a non-were supernatural. She wasn't sure about witches or vampires, so she did the smart thing and gave a wide distance. She wasn't about to stick her nose where it didn't belong, nor did she intend to stir up some trouble with other's she had no business with. However, she wanted to know as much as possible about the were community without dabbling in the wrong pots. Yeah, that wasn't going so well for the shadowy coloured wolf. However, her very nose wrinkled at the thought of a witch, a bit distrusting of the idea. Asking for help from someone she knew nothing about. Yet the woman was in an unusual circumstance, she needed to learn to control her powers somehow. She knew how well things turned out when you try to supress them. It didn't matter what kind of fancy lock and key you used, if it were as wild as her wolf it would find a way to burst through.
Narrowing her eyes slightly she responded. "A witch, you say? You trust this familiar of yours?" She tried not to be closed minded but she couldn't help but feel wary of what was not tangible and familiar. The more she thought of it, the more distrusting she felt about it. A strange witch, how could she help her? How could she even imagine trusting a witch she didn't know in a weak state as her lava grew out of control? Yet the very notion of being able to hone her skills sounded appealing. How the tables would have been turned if she had honed abilities when Frost used his fancy powers and devious ultimatums. She had a lot to figure out in a short amount of time until the next time they faced off. She wasn't all too convinced that the horse would stick to his word. She had to be ready for either Frost or Negan for when they came.
The oddly patterned wolf explained where her pack was. How nice it must be to have that freedom, to have a moment to yourself without suffering consequences. "I hear that. You just looked, you know, a little lonely out here by yourself." Maybe she misread that look and she was perfectly fine, content being alone in the big dark woods. Then here comes Mira, barging in because she was familiar. Mira was supposed to be a lone wolf, staying away from packs, keeping her distance in their affairs and yet. Here she was making friends with one pack in particular, already finding herself in the thick of her own tedious troubles.
Perhaps it was that pack animal nature she simply could not deny, that was in her blood. Of course, these people were unlike her old pack, they were kind and looked after their own. It was hard to imagine a pack that was not like the convoluted one she knew. The one that corroded her outlook on the very world. The very pack that had made her calculating and cold, yet, she fought against it any chance she could, like now. She couldn't help but feel slightly awkward and out of place. But she would be damned to continue being the she-wolf she was.
Mira had to be gentle with this one, that imposing creature she had become had to be softer when she was around Raven. She could see that constant need the other wolf felt to escape her, to slip away into the night to keep herself safe. Of course, Mira hadn't done anything to really warrant that apprehension, but it most certainly was earned in one shape of form from their kind. It was amazing how Mira wasn't equally as messed up, perhaps she was, in other ways. The woman was jumpy, untrusting and ruthless when she had to be.
Mira raised a brow, those golden eyes that only appeared stark against the inky black of her fur landed upon her. Surely there was something Raven loved about being a wolf that she kept to herself. She was wolf, no matter how much she acted like a cat, she couldn't just simply become a cat. There just had to be something. There was an almost nervous, careful consideration the other wolf possessed to her question.
It was really no surprise to hear that the one thing she enjoyed was the same lure that tugged within Mira, coaxing her into the dark embrace of the forest. "Me too." She uttered softly, knowing all too well it was the very thing that kept her sane in all of her turmoil. Was it not the very reason she ended up out here in the first place? Even despite the very souls that walked the forest as well? There was a worry that her power would take hold and consume her, that she would become that puddle of lava and never be able to pull herself back together. She could burn down this whole forest she took solace within if she wasn't careful. She was a time bomb that was ticking away within her skull. Maybe, if she kept her wolf side sated she could control it. Maybe meeting that witch was her only hope.
What a mess that has become of her life. She was happy to forget those many thoughts plaguing her mind. Frost, Negan, this lava thing.
"I come out here a lot so I can...." Her train of thought died instantly silent.
That was when she heard the snap of dried up branch, that loud crack flooded the air. Her head shot up, her ears on high alert, acting like pointed radars atop of her head. She is honed in on the sound, scenting the air as if trying to figure out what created it. It smelled like prey. A wicked little smirk pulled on the corner of her wolfish muzzle as she raised from her relaxed state to stand. Well the time was near perfect was it not? She stood, alert, and rather regal looking as she shook out that long thick fur. The lava she could feel just below the surface of her skin. She was used to the feeling, comforted by it and yet now she is wary of how she could simply just fall apart and leak into that molten substance at any given moment.
Was it safe taking off in a hunt? Hell if she knew but the urge, that twitched through her coiled muscles and the itch of the call that thrummed within her seemed almost too tempting to ignore. She tipped her wolfish head, in a manner that appeared silent but questioning, an idle swish of that thick tail as if asking a slight invitation. They could chase after rabbits or whatever that was within the endless forest. For a moment let their worries slip away. She dipped her chiselled head and chest down in spirited invitation. Raven was either going to get over this fear of hers or she wasn't but it didn't mean they couldn't do something fun. After all, she did say she liked to run.
OOC: I am so sorry for the lateness, life got a little crazy. Thank you for being so patient <3
