OOC: So....I took some liberties with the time of day, since Sebby is a vampire and all that, I hope it's okay!
With that royal wedding but mere months away, the future Prince of Italy's face covered near every lifestyle magazine. The press lingered with distinct persistence outside the door of his own mansion, eager for any glimpse of anything coming and going through those gates that might hint to any detail of that prestigious event. All of it, unfortunately, made hunting particularly difficult. Sebastian had spent the better part of the evening either attempting to avoid those cameras or trying to find a single soul that didn't somehow recognize him from somewhere. All in all, his efforts had produced little more than a feeble meal that had required enough of his own affinities to make the whole affair almost unworth it. He was almost thankful that the winter offered him longer hours of darkness and, in turn, more time to find any sort of meal and yet, tonight had certainly been the longest time to date that he had been away from his fiance. It made him antsy, combined with the simple knowledge of the approaching sunrise in but a few hours. The forecast had predicted a particularly sunny day today, the thought alone produced a scowl upon his lips as Sebastian ducked into the nearby coffee store.
There were particularly few customers in that brightly lit cafe so early in the morning, a fact that Sebastian was thankful for as he approached that counter. It was nearly customary for the vampire to return home with some sort of treat in hand, weather it was a chocolate truffle or, as it would be tonight, a warm cup of hot chocolate. He knew it was unnecessary, certainly, and yet, it was his own way of apologizing for staying out so late and flirting with individuals that were certainly not the man he intended to marry. It was only once his order was placed that Sebastian found himself lingering in that designated 'waiting area' for those beverages to be finished. His gaze briefly traveled over a nearby bookshelf filled to the brim with the cafe's products - from glass teapots to cheery seasonal travel mugs. Those blue eyes shifted further around that little store only for his eyebrows to quite sudden furrow. His head tilted to the side as the vampire eyed the back of one particular young woman, someone he recognized. Well fancy that. He hadn't expected to see Gia again so soon, and yet, it was good to see her in a much better place then she had been last time they met.
Sebastian easily made his way towards the bar against the wall, his back leaning against that table just far enough away from the woman as to not intrude upon that personal bubble. "Well, I hardly expected to see you here, daffodile." He commented, his own tone decidedly good natured, even in spite of that pet name he had decidedly given the young woman ever since that night. Sebastian knew well he was unlikely to be greeted with the same sort of enthusiasm but, he hardly minded, instead simply pleased to see a familiar face. "You certainly look like you're doing better, hm?" He inquired, those blue eyes lingering upon her, as if he was trying to reassure himself of that very fact. At the very least she was less drugged then last time and seemed more at ease than the time before that. It was minute progress but, still any progress was good progress, as far as Sebastian was concerned.
