South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

He had no doubt that Adelaide would be a kind and fair boss to the three people present so far in the bistro. He could see already that she cared about them. She had a motherly way about her that he loved to see. He knew that she would work just as hard as her employees. The bistro was bound to be booming. He was a few steps behind the other works but it was an easy atmosphere he walked into. Adelaide already looked friendly and encouraging to all her employees and they seemed so comfortable with her. She was making fast friends. Adelaide's gaze was the first he found himself looking for and he wasn't disappointed because she met his at the same moment, her own gaze widening in surprise before it softened. He smiled, practically beaming at her. She said it was a suprise seeing him and he tilted his head smirking. "I wouldn't miss your grand opening for the world. You're gonna do great." He reached out to everyone else, greeting them before his gaze swept back to Adelaide. She had amusement in her eyes again. He loved seeing that.

Her laughter filled the bistro, his chest tightening with happiness at the sound. She teased him about not liking his job and he shook his head, raising his hands in surrender. "Oh, I love my job. Wouldn't trade it for anything. The company's not half bad either." He knew he was flirting quite openly with her by this point but he didn't care. His attention turned as the blonde introduced herself as Elain but said to call her Ellie. He nodded his head in greeting. "It's a pleasure, Ellie." He shook Killian's hand, noting the friendly nature in the man's posture. He seemed happy for Adelaide. Taylor noted the looks he was giving them both when he walked in. He introduced himself and Taylor nodded in acknowledgement, listening as he said he was going to polish some glasses. Taylor stepped aside, not wanting to be in anyone's way. He was here just to enjoy the place and of course, get to spend a little time with Adelaide, even if it just meant sitting in a corner and watching her do what she was good at. He didn't mind at all.

Killian looked right at home in the bistro. He seemed to be a good fit for the place, as much as the other two that were here with Adelaide. Of course she had good judgement so he didn't doubt that she could pick good employees. Killian started polishing away as he turned to the girl who had come in just ahead of him. She seemed eager about everything, looking around and giving him a bright smile to match his own. She too gave him and Adelaide a look that he shrugged off as she turned to go toward the girl who called herself Ellie. He heard her whispering to the blonde about helping her learn how to be a waitress and he chuckled under his breath. "Good luck, not that you'll need it." He whispered to Adelaide, his hand resting on the small of her back for a minute, just a brush of his fingers, before he moved to take a seat in the corner so he could get a better look at everything and let everyone get to work. It wasn't long before people started bustling in and making orders. He ordered a coffee to start with and sipped it as he slyly watched everyone else, though he felt his gaze drawn to Adelaide most as she moved about the bistro. She looked like a wild animal in her natural habitat, graceful and beautiful.
