The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Of course not all the time did her intent ever happen. The Dark Hunter had ruined her chance to run around without being harmed, or causing harm for others. The other being inside her did not take the attack lightly. If she had been in charge she might have attached the Dark Hunter and kept him from harming her again and then leaving the scene and continue on her merry way. The primal part of her decided that it would end the Dark Hunter's life right there, no empathic thought in that decision making. It was natural as a predator she was to eliminate the threat. Raven had no control over herself to keep her other half from ripping him apart. With the Dark Hunter shredded and left in her wake there was no need to think of anything else. The pain though. That was what she could feel, and as she moved, that dirk that was lodged between her shoulder blades, brought her much discomfort every time she moved. Irritated she slumped down to the ground rolling along her side.
Within the depths of her mind there was an argument. Raven wanted to take back the control not trusting her other half to simply run and not cause problems. Of course it wasn't her fault that the Dark Hunter was dumb enough to attack her. Still though, the goal was to return home without any blood on her, be it from her or belonging to another. Would she even be allowed to be on her own if she continued to come back with some sort of trouble? It wasn't the scent of the coyote that caught her attention, rather it was that voice that was invading her mind. Her dial would turn slightly to see the figure of the smaller canine. Raven attempted to take back control, but was pushed aside by the other. The bear-sized wolf growled softly, a warning to the other to not get so close. Slowly the massive creature would roll onto its feet. Shaking the snow off her dark pelt, blue-grey eyes held a hazy glow, as it narrowed down upon the coyote. The air around her was tense, the feral creature pondering on what to do with the smaller creature. The silver rays of the moon would pick up the peculiar grey markings upon her darkened pelt. No other had markings like. With a rough snort the lupine moved her dial around to investigate the object that was causing her pain and grief. Grey-trimmed ears twitched back and forth as those large jaws snapped, unable to grab the foreign weapon. Annoyed the she-wolf growled as her dial shook back and forth, the massive creature slumping to the ground again, this time focusing on cleaning her bloodied paws, the coyote ignored for now.
