Abigail seemed curious enough of the cheese fries and how they were made. Maybe Malia should have paid better attention that night Henry got some for her but she was more than a little intoxicated that night and more than a little distracted, and OH SO hungry so she may have looked over what exactly went into the cheese fries. But surely Abigail would find out how to make them and then they could enjoy them together! Her eyes twinkled at the thought of it. Abigail seemed more than a little surprised when Malia asked what she liked to do though. It was like she'd never been asked before or something. Didn't she have free time? Malia felt like she had too much free time most of the time. Everyone else had school or work or kids or something and she had none of those. Not that she wanted a job. Someone not her alpha telling her what to do and then her having to do stuff she didn't want to do? No, thank you. She hated the money stuff anyway. She didn't get the whole purpose behind it. Abigail seemed pretty excited about butterflies though. She must really like chasing them. But Malia distracted her when she mentioned tv. She said that she had one at home but didn't know how to turn it on. Malia smiled, no judgement in her eyes since there was a time not so long ago that she could have said the same thing. "Well I don't know about yours but we have a little remote thing that has buttons on it. I usually push all the buttons until one of them makes the tv turn on. If that doesn't work, I go get Frost or Nadya to turn it on for me. They're usually pretty okay with doing that, unless they're alone in the room or something." She shrugged. "If you have a roommate or something, they can turn it on for you. Unless you live alone." She wasn't trying to be nosy, just offering options just in case. When Abigail asked if she would show her how to work the tv, Malia grinned. "Of course!" She didn't mind showing her how to turn it on. It couldn't be that different from her own tv, right? Abigail seemed to lighten up considerably when Malia said she loved to catch butterflies and how she used to pounce on other coyotes as pups. The little panda giggled and said she'd like to see that. Then she asked about finding other Were's to pounce on and Malia's eyes widened in glee. Oh, the possibilities! "Yes, we should! I bet they'd never see it coming!" She wondered how mad Frost would be if she pounced on him. Nadya would probably be used to it from her own kids. Tetradore might be a little grumpy but he would get over it. Raven....well, she might caution Abigail not to jump on her if she was as big as a bear and looking more than a little feral. She'd hate to see Abigail get eaten like that monkey. When she brought up Abigail pouncing on the butterflies in the trees, the panda seemed to cling to the idea, saying they could double team them cause Malia could get the ones down low. She nodded. "They're as good as caught." She agreed. When the little panda jumped down to the ground, Malia stood and wagged her tail, bowing down low so she wouldn't seem so big to the panda. Abigail said they'd have to find some and she nodded. "Know any good places with lots of flowers? I think they like hanging out there." She looked around. "You can even take a ride on my back if you want to get there faster." She offered with a smile, hoping to get rid of any last traces of fear the panda might have toward her. The rabbit behind her was all but forgotten. She wasn't really hungry to begin with so she didn't mind leaving it for scavengers. They needed to eat too. Besides, she had a new Were friend to entertain. |
