South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

She rubbed absently at the new scar on her ear as she walked toward the outskirts of town. It was a nice reminder of her first victory at the Ark, against a lion, no less. She felt like a conqueror. Sure, she could have gotten the wound healed by a witch and she wouldn't have a scar but then all she'd have is a memory of what it felt like. No, she didn't mind a scar here and there, especially from a good fight. She'd have to do that again some time. And Tetradore still owed her a fight too, even if it meant she had to sneak up on the alpha and make him fight her. She didn't want his pack or title. She just wanted bragging rights for kicking his ass. Was that too much to ask? She smirked at the thought alone.

She walked easily into the woods, knowing her way around here like the back of her hand. She followed the trail to her usual tree and stripped down, bundling her clothes at the foot of the tree out of the line of sight of the sidewalk so no humans would get curious. Then she let out her breath and closed her ears, concentrating until she felt the familiar crackle of her bones shifting. Fur sprouted from her skin and her face elongated, fangs growing from her humans. She shook out her coat, her tongue already lolling out as she turned and darted further into the woods. What to get into first? She could hunt something or just run for the fun of it. She could chase some birds or look for other Were's. What to do? As if in answer to her question, a rabbit hobbled by. It looked like it was already injured, the leg maybe? Then a larger shadow showed up around the tree line, obviously stalking the prey. Curling her lip in a grin, she wiggled her butt as she leaned back on her hindquarters. Cooling herself like a spring, she pounded forward, letting out a laughing yip as she landed right between the rabbit and the shadow. The rabbit spooked and took off, leaving her with whoever was hunting the rabbit. She wagged her tail, waiting to see just what and who she'd managed to piss off.
