It wasn't hard to pick up how different the atmosphere was once they entered that large field. The open fields were so calm compared to the hustle and bustle beyond. It wasn't hard to imagine how a small child could easily be convinced of their relative freedom. Nadya's gaze traveled to the left and right as Frost explained its perimeter and of a possible plan. She nodded silently, her attention quickly taken by the wooden houses and the women and children that milled about them. Both of them were taken by surprise at the sudden appearance of a woman who seemed only all too familiar with her boyfriend by throwing her arms around his neck.
It was awkward to say the least. Nadya slowly slipped off the saddle so her feet planted firmly on the ground. That tenseness left her shoulders slightly when Frost explained who the woman was, though she still kept close to his side. "Thank you." Nadya was used to being in the spotlight but these curious gazes were very different than the ones of appreciative males when she had been up on that stage. She followed Frost into the offered house, glancing over her shoulder as Gaeska closed the doors behind before laying out Frost's clothes. She took the time while Frost was shifting and dressing to full take in their surroundings. It was sparse, hardly the basics in her opinion, but she could tell it was still well cared for. The clothes, though few, were hung with care and no dust settled on any surfaces. Was that a requirement of the homes or was it with pride that the resident tended to it? What if there were multiple kids...did they all share the one bed?
Her internal musings were cut short when Frost pulled her into his arms. Nadya sighed into his embrace, resting her head gently on his chest, relishing these stolen moments. "If they had someone to teach them...-" Though she didn't have time to finish that thought as the door was opened and a moment later a woman came barreling through. That very sudden movement towards Frost causing Nadya to automatically step away. The pairs exchange had Nadya shifting slightly in awkwardness, feeling like she was out of place and shouldn't be witness to it.
Only when Frost spoke her name did Nadya look back at the pair. How did she go from a confident business owner to a nervous woman? Still, the dark haired woman who looked back at her, despite her stature, was intimidating. "It's...nice to finally be able to meet you." Nadya held out her hand to shake. Was this the proper thing to do? How did you greet the mother of your boyfriend? Her nervous gaze glanced over at Frost for some indication on what to do.
