South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

South
i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

She was there. Raven could actually feel her other half start to wake up. That buzzing in the back of her head was steady. It seemed that her other half was quite aware that they were no longer alone within the woods. This wasn't good. They were alone with him. The young woman winced when she felt a sharp pain right against her temple. When Raven used her telekinesis to move that tin towards Frost she could feel her control waver slightly, the tin moving right towards his head, but she kept the tin steadily aiming lower towards his hands. With a shaky sigh her shoulders slumped down annoyed that her other half attempted to harm Frost. Shyly she looked over to Frost as he munched on one of those lemon bars. If there was one thing she knew she was good at it was cooking a delectable treat or meal. With the white-haired man it was rather difficult to know his thoughts or what emotions he felt. He was a cold-hearted man, but the she-wolf was certain that her food could be acceptable. And based upon his vocal praise it would seem she was right in her assumption. Meeting his eyes a ghost of a smile appeared, but vanished when she felt that twinge in her temple again. This was going to be a very difficult evening.

That direct question from Frost as to what made her fear her feral side made her think for a moment. She knew what her pack feared when she was a child. Their terrible treatment of her led them to their downfall. A part of her knew they deserved it, and it wasn't her feral side thinking it. With her new pack she was afraid she would hurt them even though none of them did anything to deserve it. Absentmindedly she lifted her hand to allow her fingers to rub against that permanent mark her Alpha gave her from his acidic salvia. Recalling that shameful memory a sad frown crept on her face. She didn't mean to attack Jackal or Sam. She just...wasn't in a good mood. After that incident she made sure that if she felt herself ready to lose control she would leave the safety of the West and head out of the city. Raven knew her Alpha and mate would try to assist her through this difficult ordeal, but she didn't want them to get hurt. Her hand would move away from her neck as her fingers traced the book cover while answering his question. Raven was expecting him to belittle her response, but she was quite baffled when he didn't. He made some sense, but she was sure she was an enemy...that's what she grew up to understand. Both eyebrows rose in shock as he spoke about her mate.

"I didn't think anyone else knew about that. No one hardly gets to hear his other voice...even me. I wish..."

Raven stopped herself from saying anymore. Frost may know about Tobias and the two sides of himself that live within, but that didn't mean he had to right to hear her thoughts about it. Discussing Tobias and his two halves wasn't a topic she spoke with those she trusted the most. It was something she kept to herself. Raven did her best to make them both happy, and help his sane side feel like he was heard. To think that other side of him was trapped within his own mind unable to come out that often, to see his other half say or do the wrong thing, it must be a struggle. She had no clue how to make it easier on him or even how to get him to come out more than usual. Shaking her head she dismissed those wishful thoughts. When she looked back at him it was quite obvious that he had walked closer to her. That twinge she felt in her temple now throbbed. Pink lips would pull back slightly in a menacing grin as a low growl ruptured. Blue-grey eyes narrowed as her other side began to slip in the front, her body going quite still. For a minute or two she would be like that until she abruptly stopped. Ashamed she lowered her head, a silent apology, as she grabbed the book and placed it within that bag. Setting the bag against the tree trunk she could feel her other side encourage her body to rise up to her feet, no longer wanting them sitting on the ground at a disadvantage should he attack. Standing with her arms crossed she looked quite sullen. One side of her was angry that they were alone with Frost while the other side was upset the other was causing a problem. Weakly she spoke up with an apologetic tone.

"She doesn't really like you. I know you don't care about that, but you should know."

That twinge of pain she was feeling in her head only increased as if her other side was punishing her for apologizing to him...and being here in the first place. Raven's face went pale as she listened to those dark thoughts her other side was thinking, that the white horse should suffer the same fate as the pack of wolves she used to live with.
