Unable to stick her head out the window anymore she kept her focus straight ahead. It had been a week since she had come back from her honeymoon trip with her husband. She had an absolute wonderful time with him. Their adventures were numerous and so much fun. It was nice to be alone with him just him. She loved her Alpha and the members of their pack, and their friends, but it was nice to just be alone with the man she loved so much. Coming back home Raven knew she would be busy. With the New Year there were new tax laws to figure out and see what new loopholes they could use to their advantage. Earlier that evening she was curled up happily with a new book while her mate and Tetradore were off running about, probably spending some very good best friend bro time â€" after being gone for so long. When Jackal knocked on her door claiming she had a blonde, and grumpy visitor, she was puzzled. Seeing Azrael standing, clearly uncomfortable, near the fighting ring was a very atypical sight. His request that she accompany him on some sort of mission was weird too. She heard about Werehorses working with Dark Hunters. She had seen her own Father work with a seriously deranged one. Serafina was her familiar and she wanted to make her happy. She would serve her witch by keeping an eye on her chosen temporary mate, keeping him safe for her. One ear twitched forward when she noticed the lights in front of Azzys' car appeared larger, and brighter. Blue-grey eyes shifted to see a car speed up behind them, his LED lights extremely blinding. Shifting her eyes away from that obnoxious light she leaned her head against the window. As another sporty car raced past them she sighed quite softly. If she was in the car with Tetradore or Tobias they would eagerly try to race the other car.
Her dial would tilt towards the Dark Hunter, listening to him, when suddenly she felt his car suddenly shift downwards. A surprise and soft yelp came out of the lupine as she attempted to keep herself upright in the seat. It would seem that Azrael would have his answer now as to where those other cars were going. Uncertain about this her ears pricked downwards as her gaze shifted to all those cars and that unnerving, well protected, facility. Blue-grey eyes narrowed as she kept her attention on that large, creepy looking building. A soft growl could be heard in her chest. Even that feral side was uncertain about this place. Why would a place like this be built in the middle of nowhere? Well, that was a dumb question. Because there was something not legal going on around here. Now that she thought about, Azrael never explained why he needed her. Just that he needed a Were that wouldn't kill him accompany him on this trip. Seeing all those fences wrapped around the building seemed more like an attempt to cage whatever it was inside the building. Sort of like the Hunger Games almost. All those districts keeping all those souls trapped within their own 'home.' Hell, those kids were trapped in a wicked killing game environment. God, was that what this place was? A demented Ark? Where the Weres pour in and only one makes it out alive? Once Azrael put the car in park she looked over at him, her voice holding a nervous tone.
Staying still in her seat she watched as different figures roamed passed their park car heading towards that heavily protected building. As Azrael listed off some of the people walking past them she looked over at the different Weres walking with their...owners. There were werewolves, werecats which seemed....typical? Humans had dogs and cats as pets so why not their wild counterparts? One had two falcons on either side of his shoulder. Blue-grey eyes went wide when she saw a vampire of Asian descent walk past them with a massive komodo dragon, those long claws easily leaving a slashing mark in the tawny sand. She had seen one of those in the fighting rings...and it was one of the most gruesome ones she saw. Hearing Azrael start to rummage around she watched as he grabbed a few random items. That black scarf he pulled from the backseat was recognizable. Her head would shove towards him her nose flaring as she inhaled that familiar scent of her witch. As he wrapped that black thick scarf around her neck she felt oddly at ease, that scent of Serafina oddly comforting. While Azrael began to put that mascara above his lip, Raven began to giggle in her head, black lips pulling back on her muzzle in a wolfish grin. His admittance that he looked ridiculous kept her from saying anything. Using her telekinesis she pulled on that handle for the door to open, and she easily jumped out. Mentally shutting his door she waltzed right up beside him. Raven had no idea how she was supposed to act. Was she supposed to be happy here or not? Maybe neither? What would her mate and Alpha do? Probably walk around like the owned the place. Well, that wouldn't do for her. Feeling that buzzing in her head she could feel her feral side subtly take control of her body, but not in her mind. She could feel her head rise up higher than she would normally carry it, her muzzle lifted faintly above to show her teeth, her stride held more of a purpose, and her tail was raised half-way. Her feral side giving the lupine a taste of what it was like to walk about like...well her.
