The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.
Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.
The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to like being petted or not. I mean I may look like a horse, but I'm still a human. You don't pet humans. I mean you could, but it would be frowned upon, especially if it was done with a stranger. But his light touches are very gentle. He's very quiet, he talks very softly. Since I turned into a horse I found myself be bothered by very loud voices and being turned off by people that spoke very loudly. It used to not bother me before, but I've noticed it has been. You know, he's not being very rough with me when he takes all this horse tack off me. Usually the other Hunters aren't this gentle. Oh and the petting! He's petting me again! Oh this is very nice. Am I supposed to like it as a Were or is this degrading? Well, if it's degrading those WereHorses are stupid, this is so very nice! I can't really recall anyone taking the time to pet me like this, but I do like it. He is very gentle and he smells pretty good too, even for out in the sun for a very long time. Oh yes Sir, please do touch my nose right there in that spot...yep, he got the itch! Oh I am so content I am willing to close my eyes just a little bit, and just let him talk...and talk...and oh my gosh that's funny. He thinks one day me and my pulling a wagon capability is going to do me and others good. Oh that is too, too funny. I can't help but laugh as my ears go flat against my skull, I do not agree with his statement, not at all. Pretty sure that'll never happen.
Nodding my head at his invitation I follow easily after him. He said there would be food and I wouldn't mind a little bit. Getting closer to Darius' stable I can't help, but flatten my ears slightly. I don't really like him and I'm pretty sure he doesn't like anybody. Keeping my distance from his stable I watch as Matteo takes Darius' bridle and starts to take him out the stable. I snort softly ignoring Darius as I search around his area for food. Gently I poke my nose at this innocent bag hanging on the side of the stable, and oh my gosh I hit the jackpot! There are apples in here! Come on apples, come on, I just need one of you to fall. As I'm busy trying to make an apple fall from the bag, out of the corner of my eye, I notice movement. Lifting my dial I see Matteo coming over. I can't help, but nicker softly as he digs around the bag for an apple. Although I can see Darius is standing there watching. Hesitantly I make a slow approach, gently taking the apple off his hand, happy to eat my prize. Although I am disappointed that I am only allowed to have one apple. Spoil my appetite. Why would I spoil my appetite? It's an apple! It's not like I'm eating ice cream...although sugar would be nice to have too now that I think about it. Exiting the stable I follow after him keeping a bit of a distance between myself and Darius. When we reach the pen outside I watch as Dorian lets him off his bridle. Walking over closer I watch as he manages to bring a bucket full of food out from thin ear. Whoa that's pretty cool! I notice Darius giving me a stink eye look with his ears flat. Annoyed I squeal back at him snorting softly as I turn my head away from him. I don't want your food, you don't have to tell me it's. Where did Matteo get that bucket of food?
Curious I walk towards him and start poking my nose at his hip and stomach. Clearly he didn't pull it from his pocket, or did he? Maybe he's like a Mary Poppins! Watching him closely I see he pulls from the air another bucket and it smells pretty good! Both ears point forwards to him as I lift my head to catch another whiff of that scent. Walking over towards the bucket I look at the contents, so this is mash? He said I could eat it. I mean I'm a human I shouldn't be eating out of a bucket, but it does smell pretty good. Oh I think that's honey I smell! Looking back over at the Fae I see him bring out a plate full of sandwiches. Oh my God, he's a fucking walking and talking refrigerator! That is so, very cool! When he lowers the plate down I am about to step forward to him, but stop myself. As much as I would like to have a sandwich I have to turn into a human, and I wouldn't mind a little bit of conversation, I don't think now is a good time to change. I mean I could. I am capable of changing, but I haven't mastered the ability to shift and have my clothes still on. So, in the meantime I think it is best I stay as a horse. Besides I can eat a sandwich, but first this mash thingy. Ignoring Darius I walk over to that bucket of mash and stuff my nose in it. Oh this stuff tastes really good! Both my ears are pointed back to hear Matteo start to talk. Halfway done with my bucket of mash I lift my head and shake my head. Although everything that I'm thinking to reply with, I don't realize, that I'm actually communicating with him telepathic wise.
"No, why would I care that you are Fae? You're just a male with pointy ears, been alive for...what was it two thousand years, and you're capable of pulling a bucket of food and a plate full of sandwiches from thin air. I don't see how any of this is a bad thing."
Returning back to my bucket I eagerly eat the rest of it. When I'm done I head back over towards the Fae, eyeing the plate to make sure there was still some food left. Snorting softly I happily brush my muzzle into his hair, nuzzling him the best way I know how, because well this is my first time nuzzling. Again, I have no clue that I am communicating with him, I'm just easily spilling out words out of my mouth, well head.
"I'm not sure how I can say thank you, but I hope you don't mind me accidentally messing up your hair. The mash was very good, but I am curious to see how those sandwiches taste like. Although I wonder how come there is prejudices against your kind. I mean you seem sort of like the most harmless ones out of all the supernatural creatures. Oh, and you smell very good. I wonder if you're a magician. I mean, I've never seen anyone pull food out of thin air before. Oh I wish you could pet me again."
When I stop nuzzling him I lift my head up and look over at Darius. I wonder if that's why he stayed as a horse and never bothered to turn into a human? I mean you'd just be a pet. Maybe that's a good thing. You get fed, taken care of, don't have to deal with human life. I wonder if he just got tired of it all and decided to live out his days this way? Well, if he did, he was given a very good rider.
