Settling down on top of the hill with her husband, eating lunch and looking out at the African savannah, the whole ordeal with serene and blissfully wonderful. Moments like this, just to sit quietly and happy was rare. The man was constantly moving, constantly doing something, it was nice to see him settled and at content. Once she arranged for his legs to stretch out she happily settled herself between his legs, pressing her back gently into his chest. Just the feeling of him close was comforting. With only one hand could she count how many times when she felt this way, at peace. She was happy to see that her husband was curious about the hobby she wanted them to try together, it meant he was interested. Raven was sure that his other half would enjoy the dancing. Sure, he might find it odd, but she wanted to try. It would be good for the two of them to having something fun to do together, even if they were going to do the 'sex dance.' The idea that she could seduce him, with a dance move or not, was just as absurd as seeing Dorian attempt to be like a ninja.
Unlike most women, she was not gifted in the skillset of seducing or flirting with men, that ability simply lost upon her. One eyebrow rose as she turned her head slightly to look at him, curious to see just how she could seduce her own husband. His warm hands were easily felt as he wrapped them around her waist, pulling her ever so closer to his frame. As one hand left her waist, that same hand made an appearance by her neck as he pushed her golden-brown curls aside. With a soft sigh her eyes closed as she titled her neck further, giving him all the access that he would need. Once his lips lifted from just below her ear, her eyes reopened, and a small smile appeared as her cheeks flared up, a bit embarrassed. Turning herself around her cheeks remained a shade of pink as she gave the man a small grin, murmuring quite softly.
At least he didn't want her to say some sort of cheesy line. This gesture, this movement, she was sure she could mimic it. She would have to try it when he wasn't aware, it needed to be a surprise. Yes, that's right. It needed to be spontaneous. Tucking this knowledge to the back of her mind, she went back to munching on her apple. It was interesting to hear the man gently shoot down her idea about running around at night. Truly, she thought he would take her up on the offer. Of course she valued safety. How many times at the Ark did the boys suggest to do something that was completely questionable, and she had to be the voice of reason? Now she was the one willing to live a little bit on the wild side. With a wink and teasing grin of her own, she boldly announced just why she thought so differently.
Between the two of them, she was by far the most cautious one. Most of the time, if not all the time, she was the one trying to keep her spotted companion from doing something foolish, or possibly endanger himself or others. That she was willing to step over that line and do something a little bit irresponsible was a very uncommon moment. How many times did she observe Tetradore constantly driving his cars over the speed limit, barreling down the highway like a mad demon, only for the pure joy of it? How often did she see her own mate fight in the ring without a care in the world about getting injured, pilfer an item from the shop, cause problems for Dark Hunters that bothered them, or any other random scenario, and nothing bad happened to him? Maybe it was okay to not be so wary about everything, maybe she should try to not be such a stick in the mud about everything and just...do without worrying about the consequences. With the suggestion that they ought to leave to go see the elephants, she nodded and got up from the blanket, a bit sad at having to leave his side. Packing up the remains of their lunch, she helped him pack everything away, taking the keys he pressed into her hands. Swinging into the truck, she placed her seatbelt on, then took the key to turn into the ignition.
Putting the vehicle in drive, she started down the hill, gently guiding the truck slowly through those waters. Once they exited the waters she picked up the speed a bit, listening to Tobias guide them towards their destination.
There were a lot of things she thought she would never get to do. Having friends and a loving family. Marrying a man that loved her just as much she loved him. Being able to be in Africa and see a real elephant. There were a probably million other things she never thought she get to do, and she was sure Tobias thought these same things, but at least they were able to do these things - together.
