Being far away from home and her family didn't feel right. She missed her day-to-day activities like preparing meals, working with Tetradore, spending quality time with friends and family in the city, she enjoyed those moments. The transition was a bit difficult at first, but she was starting to build a new routine with her chosen mate. Spending time alone with her mate was nice. Their relationship was not strained by any means, but being alone together allowed the two of them to deepen their bond. It felt satisfying to have Tetradore here, sitting at the barstool in her kitchen, like placing one of the missing pieces to the puzzle in place. Although Raven was wary when it came to touching strangers, she had no problems touching those that she trusted. Hugging her Alpha gave her a sense of comfort, as if everything was okay and that they were still family. He never was one to return the gesture, but she figured it was just him being his typical reserved self, or maybe it was a feline thing. After all, Tobias didn't care for hugs before, but he was tolerating them now. The curly-haired woman appreciated his thoughtful gesture. There were enough books to help her pass the time and keep her occupied should her unruly spotted companion decide to venture out in the woods on his own, play with his toys or video games. After answering his question on how things were going, she gently pressed him with her own inquires. Quietly she nodded her head thoughtfully, approving the idea of bringing the pack here for a full moon, but respecting his decision to not bring them around quite yet.
It would be wonderful to see everyone again! There were plenty of some sites they could visit together. Raven knew without a doubt that Alexis would enjoy running through the valley outside the woods, the red fox would be able to test her speed without the fear of traps from a Dark Hunter. Mira and Carolina would probably enjoy checking out the waterfall or the cave near the area to explore. As for the boys of the pack, surely, they would find something here together...whether that was lying in the sun on a branch or playing video games in the cabin. After taking the last bite of her turkey sandwich, she grabbed her own water bottle, twisting the lid off, and bringing the bottle upwards to drink. It wasn't surprising that he didn't say how he was doing. Surely, he was beyond stressed with everything that happened. Their business and home were destroyed, as an Alpha, it was his responsibility to ensure their safety...and here they were scattered to the wind. It was good though that everyone else was doing very well, but she was hoping Tetradore wasn't beating himself up over this scenario. Setting the water bottle down on the countertop, she turned her head to face him, catching his gaze first until she replied kindly.
It wasn't like the man ever told her how he felt...ever. He didn't have to. However, she was willing to listen, and if he wasn't interested in telling her, that was okay too. The mention of their new home was exciting news to hear. That he was already looking into getting them a new place was a positive sign that things would eventually return back to normal, well as normal as things could be. With a bit of eagerness in her voice, she responded quickly, curious to see if he could give her any fun details.
Speaking of secrets...she was excited, and a bit worried to tell him her secret. Well, it wasn't really a secret. It wasn't like she wanted to keep him in the dark about it. This was something he needed to know. Not just because he was the Alpha of their pack, but as a family member and friend, he deserved to know. For a moment she would grow quiet and begin to fidget nervously with her fingers. Raven doubted he would be upset or disappointed in what she had to say. This would probably be another thing to stress and worry about. Not that she expected him to help raise the child, but in a way...the child would be another member in his pack. Lifting her head to give him a sheepish look, she murmured quite softly.
Letting her fingers go she'd turn her upper torso towards his direction, resting her left hand over her small bump, giving the man a nervous smile and speaking gently.
