The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Busy body was just one term or set of words you could throw together that would describe Gideon at the present. He still couldn't help but chuckle about his meeting with Tob, and how pleasant it was just a few moons ago. It did warm the assassins' rather cold heart.
Of course he'd come off nice and approachable, but he was still the sort of assassin that would slit anyones throat for the right amount of money. Or if he thought it would benefit him in some fashion. Though his greed would tempt him much more. He liked the concept and idea of power that money held. He also liked what it could do when used as a proper tool.
Though something told him he wouldn't have to rely on that just yet. Later perhaps, but he would push that idea aside for now. The only thing he had on his mind was getting his thoughts to calm down and get a plan sorted out.
Serafina was still someone he needed to reach back out to in regards to work. She was one of the first few people he really got to talk to and help. She seemed to have a similar mindset like he did, but it was on a different plane.
And his next plan of action was to simply keep his head down from the vampires that might be around. The information from Tob made it concrete that he needed to be adamant of his actions and be wary of his surroundings. Of course these were all things that he did naturally as he learned it through discipline.
Tonight though he made sure to blend in a little more to the night and it's ever dark embrace it was always known for; In other words he was donning his assassin gear. That deep ocean blue top and hood, that was pushing the boundaries of being black like the night sky. It had a floweyness to it but it seemed to highlight his figure. His pants did the same, but he had freedom to move and run. And the leather boots downing his feet rose above part of his calves and shins. Still good for gripping.
The Greek Fae opted to keep his hood down for the time, and just let the salty air of the ocean pelt him. Reminded him of being back home in the Mediterranean; After all he spent a lot of time in the coastal villages in Greece. He could still remember it like it was yesterday. The smell of the ocean, the bustling pathways and docks. Traders and crafters, cooks and the fishermen on the docks hollering back and forth at each other.
"Such good times those were in that day and age." He chuckled at himself in thought, as he finally felt his feet hit one of the wooden viewing and seating decks.
It was so strange that most times he would need his glasses, but when he was out like this in the night, or focused on a mission, he didn't need the glasses. They more so were for making him blend in, even though they did help him with seeing and reading; General functionality during normal humdrum days
But that didn't matter right now. He was in a bit of a trance, but it was quickly broken.
The sound of a car shutting. The jangling of keys. His acute hearing kicked in. But the presence he was sensing was quite what he expected. No.. This was familiar.
Too familiar. Another Fae? Here?
He flicked his vision over to the figure and saw her. Blonde hair curled perfectly and a thin coat around her. Feet buried in the sand as she seemed to be staring off into the ocean.
"Careful not to spook her." Gideon said under his breath as he swiftly flung himself over the wooden barrier of the deck into the soft sand below. Not much of a sound was made either.
His chocolate eyes focused on the Fae not too far from him.
"Kind of dangerous to be out by yourself here, don't you think?" His thick accent came through, as he leaned forward with his hands in his cloak and a soft smile on his face.
"Some company is all right with ya?"
