South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Putting the pieces together

Wake up to your dreams
And watch them come true

Nadya couldn't remember when she had last been to the beach. Then again she couldn't remember a lot lately. The blackhole that was her brain kept stabbing her with pain any time she tried to recall a memory. What she did know was that her own brother despised her but she couldn't even remember why. The first place she had gone after escaping the Hunters was to her brother. It was the single strongest blood bond she had pulling her to what should have been safety and comfort. Instead it brought only pain. Nadya had fled in confusion before a whole lot could be discussed.

The young woman had spent the night curled in her Were form in the dark abyss of an abandoned warehouse. It was the need for warmth as the afternoon sun peeked that drew her from the warehouse. At least she had managed to get some clothes so she was no longer clad in the exam outfit the Hunters had put her in. Her skin was still paler than it should be due to the malnutrition and lack of sun for the entirety she had been a captive. The sun felt both welcome and searing as she crossed barefoot over the loose sand. She chose a spot well away from the others taking advantage of the Fool's Spring sunny day to fold down onto the sand with her knees to her chest.

The very thought that she may not be able to return to the only place she could remember...the only person she truly remembered...it tore at her.
