The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.
Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The young woman admits some diminutive trace of frustration at his fox-like grin and the unabashed confidence that seems to radiate from his very skin, his unwillingness to slake at least some modicum of the profound curiosity that baits her is a deeply perturbing thing. And, she suspects, he is fully aware of it. Blue eyes narrow, the luscious pillows of her lips beginning to shape syllables that never do curl against her tongue. But a moment had she looked away, a handful of seconds that slipped through desperately clenched fingers as a precious handful of sand. A breathless gasp is all that passes from Isolt's lips as she turns to face the strange thing in the road, her foot having already moved to press urgently at the brake as Damon's body presses tightly against her and the vehicle lurches over the creature. But just as instinct had dictated that he protect her, Isolt's own body maneuvers so that his thickly-muscled frame might be held tight by her arm and the exertion of some not-inconsiderable strength.
Her arm merely tightens across his chest as they veer to the shoulder, the fledgling vampire seemingly unwilling to relinquish her grasp upon him until such a time as he drags himself upright once more. Naught but a vigorous nodding of a crimson-topped head comes as a response to his question, the pained and anxious expression in her eyes asking the same of him before both vampires extract themselves from the confines of the classic. Isolt's own approach is far more cautious in nature than her male counterpart, a testament perhaps to the many years and experiences which separate them from one another. Nevertheless, Isolt's hand curls about her companion's forearm, seeking to halt him lest he venture much closer to the impossibly monolithic coil of scaled flesh they had just collided with.
It is only then that the vague but wholly recognizable cologne curls against her honed olfactory. A majority of the fragrance notes are foreign, for her experiences with snakes in her afterlife had been sparse at best; however, below the earthy aroma of the reptilian skin was a whisper of something unequivocally human. "Do you smell that?" A frown digs its furrows into the supple canvas of her brow, the young vampire venturing forth with the utmost caution to crouch before the coiled anaconda, knowing that this caution may indeed prove voided should the predator muster the energy to defy her advances. But something... separate calls to her, perhaps it is the human portion of the creature that she senses, and empathy floods in where fear had been before. The anaconda's pain, its injury, is a tangible and deeply troubling thing for the demure redheaded woman. "Damon," she laments, putting faith in the notion that her elder will know what course they should take. "What do we do?"
