South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Hold on to this lullaby; even when the music's gone

She wasn't sure what to think. Her entire world had shifted in just a few days time. She'd gone from so much fear and uncertainty to warmth and wonder and it was all because of what happened here. She'd been instructed that she had needed to provide meat for herself, she was completely comfortable doing this, that's what had gotten her out here in this weather. But she was looking forward to the warmth of the rug in front of the as of now, unlit fireplace. She hasn't gotten the courage up to light it yet but she did nap on the rug. The shifting of the feline takes Claire back another few steps, confident that should she need to retreat she was out of immediate reach.

When the other girl said she didn't need her meal, she shifted and moved back to take it back. She wasn't going to waste a kill, not when it would sit warm in her belly and she could at least eat a bit less greens later on. She didn't waste time at this moment either, within moments were muzzle was stained crimson and she was stepping over the carcass to wrap the tail around her body. It was this movement that caused Claire's eyes to pull to the feline. She didn't know anything about cats, her family was entirely fox and having other animals around had never been a good idea.

She holds still, careful not to even move a muscle when the other asks if she is alone and tells her which pack she is from. Her fear automatically skyrockets and she shifts into a crouched position, carefully inching herself backwards. "No. My Alpha is near." This lie came easily, self-preservation was one of her specialties. This feline was one of those Frost spoke of, the other pack, the one who has no qualms about the lesser of them. The one that wolf belonged to. "I should go." Her voice is small, wary.
