South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. The University welcomes the talent of students across the world to enroll and unlock their unlimited potential. With applications from across the nation, classes fill up quickly.

there are survivors, they're coming home

Sometimes Minn could be oblivious.

...Hell. A lot of time she could be oblivious. It didn't really occur to her that she might have flounced down next time someone who might, at some point in time, want her dead. To be honest the girl didn't have much experience when it came to Dark Hunters. People generally left her alone for one reason or another, be it as a bear or as a girl. It had its advantages sometimes but Minn didn't take much seriously because of it. There was a self-loyalty there and she'd been through a lot. On her own, with Otto when he'd once ruled the Ark, and more time alone. Now she was back again and figured that she could preeeeeeeetty much make it through anything. She had nothing to lose, which meant there wasn't really anything for her to be afraid of. She could handle herself. Not to mention she'd probably make the most BORING kill in the world for anyone who liked hunting for sport. What gratification is there in killing something when it's not running and just sitting there, eating a sandwich?

In any case, there was no real reason for her to immediately become suspicious of her new breakfast guest. The guy looked a little tired and slumpish but hey â€" who was she to judge? Maybe she was just too hungry. Judging could wait till later. Minn shifted, turning the stool back and forth a few times as she rested a hand on the counter top, pushing herself one direction one way and then repeating with the other. Her comment about his coffee wasn't wrong, you know. It did smell badly. More so than coffee usually does, but when he seems to accept it for what it is and in return, compliment her jacket of all thigns, Minn is taken entirely by... surprise.

She stares at him for a moment, blinking, and the stool comes to a standstill underneath her. No one had complimented her genuinely in a long... time. Except, perhaps, that weird thing with Tetradore's man-lover when he said he liked her hair. Her deep brown eyes flicker downwards and take in its worn and faded appearance, momentarily wondering how anyone else could possibly see its worth like she did. It was one of the very few things she owned and probably one of her favorites.

"Thanks," She offered a little more softly than before, awkwardly placing her hands in her lap as an embarrassing amount of humility seemed to wash over her. Maybe insulting the smell of his coffee had been a little rude... Her lips pull into a small grimace, like a child realizing that the behavior they had performed moments before had not been entirely acceptable and now must apologize for it. The pause that came after was a little agonizing as she bartered in her head, trying to figure out the best way to go about it. "....It doesn't smell that badly. I've smelled a lot worse." .....Wait.... "Well not me... personally. I don't smell. I mean I do... I can smell, but not... but... smelled stuff other... than...that..." She pointed awkwardly at his cup and her face went blank, realizing that she should probably just stop talking.
