The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.
Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Samantha Cassidy
Samantha hardly had time to blink before the child vampire had closed the distance between herself and the Hunter. Realizing that there was absolutely nothing she could do to stop the situation, Samantha took a shaking step back, watching as the Hunter visibly relaxed and dropped her only weapon. Despite the willingness that the Hunter's body seemed to have, Samantha could feel the terror and pain that radiated from the young Hunter. It was, perhaps, the most intense thing she'd felt in a long while. The Hunter's emotions seemed to bring real pain to the young fae, and she stumbled to her knees before catching herself. She'd never had her power immobilize her like this before, and she couldn't help but think back to Tetradore's theory that maybe some emotions could be stronger than others.
The child vampire's words snapped her back to attention. The words reminded her of the taunting words the fairies who had changed her had sang out. Like then, she was aware of how powerless she was to do anything. She heard the child's warnings and the man's insistence that that was what was best, but the Hunter's emotions had hold of her and left her frozen in her spot. She watched in terror as the child's fangs sunk into the Hunter's body, and Samantha wasn't quite sure if the scream she'd uttered was in her head or vocalized. She wanted to run, but as the Hunter's emotions faded she was painfully aware that it wasn't the Hunter's emotions that kept her rooted, but her own.
Samantha was certainly aware of the pair of vampires' exchange of words, though really the only thing she could focus on was the way the Hunter drained of life. It seemed unfair, though she knew that the vampire's words were true. If she hadn't been hurt, the Hunter would have killed any and all of them. She thought of the searing pain that the iron had caused her skin. Briefly, she wondered if it would be that awful to be their food. Based on the Hunter's fear, it couldn't have felt pleasant. Samantha forced herself up to her feet, swallowing as she turned her gaze to the male vampire. "I suppose I'm going to be your dinner, now?" She said, trying to decide if it was, in fact, too late to run.
