The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.
Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.
The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. The University welcomes the talent of students across the world to enroll and unlock their unlimited potential. With applications from across the nation, classes fill up quickly.

Kato Buhari
It had been a truly interesting transition from the plains of the Serengeti to the dense, damp forests of Sacrosanct. Kato had only been using Sacrosanct as a weigh station of sorts, a place to rest before continuing on his sojourn across the states. Just like many other individuals from his home pack it had been his time to explore the different lands. Whether he returned back home was always the question. More often than not the members of the pack did return so there wasn't any doubt in his mind that he too would once more see the open lands of Africa again.
In the present, Kato had stationed himself in the forest at the South of the city which for his herbivore species was just fine. He wandered into town sparsely, doing the odd jobs that businesses would pay cash under the table for, a currency that was new to him but had learned quickly was vastly more important in this country than his village which ran more on the barter system. Kato had tucked the $60 earned from that morning from working at the docks into the pocket of his worn jeans when he first spotted the hunters. It wasn't hard to pinpoint what they were seeing as one had a high powered crossbow and the other had two hunting swords sheathed crossed on his back. Those of course were nothing new to the Were; poachers were prevalent back home. Though, instead of running in fear, Kato began to stalk the young men as he had with the poachers.
Not many places in the world had supernaturals out in the open and his home was one that kept under wraps. However, it didn't mean that Kato didn't use his unique species to his advantage. There were many times he had tracked down and gone up against poachers, their eyes wide in surprise and fear at the 'highly intelligent beast'. Their need to spill innocent blood drove Kato to become a silent protector of his homeland. Today would be no different. Once Kato had surveyed the pair for a while, determining their pattern of movement, he slipped away to set up his trap. He had several set up through the forest, not all of his time had been spent idling, and only had to choose which ones to set in motion for the pair. Kato's hands wrapped around the thick rope, his muscles tensing and rolling as he hoisted the large log up into the foliage above out of site before tying off the rope to a stake on the ground. He hovered his fingers delicately above a thin wire that ran from one stake to the other on the other side of the tight pathway. It would do.
Kato had circled around in order to come at the hunters head on and get them to chase him when he had stepped into the clearing where Edie was. So there he was, sunkissed, bare footed and bare chested with tattoos across his chest and arms, and his worn jeans hung low on his hips standing at the edge of the clearing. At first he didn't notice the small creature, his attention on the hunters hidden in the forest at the other side of the clearing. It was the barest of movements from Edie that caused his amber eyes to divert their hard course to the little fennec fox. A curious lift of his brow was all that was offered to her before the hunters broke through into the clearing as well and dragged his attention back to them.
The hunters stopped in their tracks once catching sight of the strange man and his attire simply standing there in the opening. You couldn't exactly go shooting anyone who didn't have a shirt on, but dark hunters were trained in the minute details that set human and Were apart. The one with the crossbow shifted his finger to hover near the trigger though it remained down at his side. Kato kept his hands opened at his sides, palms facing the hunters to show he had no weapon, though there was the twitch of a smirk on his lips. He noted the notice minute movement to the trigger. "That's a nice piece of equipment you have there. I don't suppose you have your hunting license on you." Yes, Kato was toying with them, but what better way to get them to chase him. Though it probably appeared to an outsider that he was far outmatched and about to be shot.
