West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Nadya Tetradore

Nadya remained patiently waiting downstairs for Jackal to fetch her brother. Her attention was solely on the gadgets on the table until she heard her brother's voice calling down the hallway for Tobias. She could not help the visual cringe that crossed her features. On the other weekends which the twin's ha' come to visit Nadya had utilized Jackal in keeping Tobias busy on ghost missions outside of the Ark, thus keeping him away from the children. Tonight, well, with Raven out she had simply assumed Tobias was out too as the pair were together more often than not. She shouldn't have assumed. Nadya's grip upon the paper she held tightened briefly before she was able to compose herself by the time Aidan had joined her downstairs to help.

She willingly released the instruction manual to Aidan, watching him settle on the floor in front of the gate that was giving Jackal problems. "No, there's a baby proofing company in the next town over. They would have come in and installed it all too but they were going to charge extra being out of town." Nadya shrugged and folded her arms across her chest. "You don't make money by spending money in non-investment items." This was no stock or business matter that meant she would have to spend a bit in order to gain a return. She was sure that they could manage this obstacle without having to pay for it to be done. Though the sudden sound of splintering wood sure put doubt in her mind. "Aidan...I don't think this is a good idea...He can't-" Nadya's attempt at a plea for her brother not to call off Tobias from 'helping' with this task was cut short as the man-child came barreling down.

The young mother remembered her brother's words of teaching Tobias on how to be better around the twins. She just still doubted Tobias' capability and was keener on sending him on wild goose chases. It seemed the easier choice. Nadya's lips pursed as the deviant plucked up the package of white outlet plugs and thoroughly scattered them everywhere. Patience was a virtue she had gained a lot of when she became a mother but there were limits to it when it came to Tobias. It was just normal for a child not to know better but a full-grown man it was difficult not to get frustrated with after a point. Only once Tobias had moved to seat himself next to Aidan did Nadya move from her spot to begin gathering the fallen objects with a huff, "Your door isn't sick, you-" Her words were cut off by Tobias shoving one of the pieces in front of her. Nadya narrowed her gaze and grabbed the item from his hand. "You broke your door. That thing that was on your doorknob was to keep the twins out of your room. You have too many things in there...sharp and small things that can hurt them. And now you don't even have a door to keep them out!"

Frustration laced Nadya's tone as she righted herself as Izzy began to cry. The crash of Tobias' door had woken the twins but it had been Nadya's break in her frustration that caused the toddler to burst into tears. Nadya had to pinch the bridge of her nose to push the fire that laced her veins back down. It would do no good to shift right now. She turned abruptly on her heels to move back over to the playpen. Micah mumbled happily, practicing his sounds and playing with his teething ring, unconcerned about his crying sister gripping the playpen walls and crying. Nadya sighed and plucked Izzy from the playpen. "Lo siento Izzy, está bien." Nadya hushed the toddler, pressing a kiss to Izzy's temple before settling the child on her hip. "Look, just...put these things in the outlets." Once more Nadya joined Tobias and Tetra, shoving the gathered outlet covers back at Tobias. "The little holes in the wall where the cords are plugged in. Put the white things in any holes that don't have a chord in them." Nadya narrowed her gaze at Tobias, this time not in frustration as just simple curiosity if he could even understand her simplified instructions.
