West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

The disfigured woman was used to feeling pain and not receiving help from others. She had learned a few good lessons to take away from her experience. Accepting help from others was a sign of weakness, providing someone help was a sign of weakness as well. By providing someone help you were simply ailing them, making them worse and useless. The only way to deal with pain was to get used to it. Each night when she was attacked by one pack member to the next, not once was she provided assistance, but that wasn't just because she needed to be subdued before her feral mind ran rampant, she alone had to learn another reason. The objective was fairly simple to deduce, she was worthless. As she got older she was given permission to leave the cage at certain moments mostly when the majority of her pack was on some sort of retreat or hunt. It was in these moments she pulled what few books there was about anatomy and health, stealing medical tools from a nearby town in order to teach herself just exactly how to heal. If she was going to continue living in such a way, being abused and attacked, then at least she could try to prevent herself from getting worse. She managed to hide her new technique in a hollow tree a few yards from the outskirts of her pack, using the moonlight to read and apply what medicine or technique that was needed to heal her countless injuries. It may be a sign of weakness, to heal herself, but there were some nights where there were a few too close calls and really, part of the feral mind was the subtle drive to survive- and she couldn't control what her other half wanted.

"I know, I'm sorry, I don't like it either."

As the WereCat spitefully hissed at her, she would ignore the malicious gaze coming from the other. She was used to being growled or hissed at, eyes full of hate were just a few things she was accustomed to. Instead of flinching or trying to keep herself away from the girl, should she decide to retaliate, her eyes caught a glimpse of the wound as the girl wriggled with pain. Quietly the young woman felt for the physical pain that the WereCat was suffering from wishing to ease and take it all away, knowing far too well the agony that came from making contact with rubbing alcohol. There was a soft wince coming from the woman as she bent her head, long golden brown curls covering her face as one hand barely moved over her side feeling a sudden agony start to occur there. Nadya would be experiencing Raven's third new power- a Guardian ability- whatever pain Nadya was suffering from her wound it would slowly disappear. This was some fairly new and although the she-wolf wanted to understand why she was feeling pain in the same placement of the other's wound, it would all have to wait, because she WereCat still had blood flowing from her sides. Slowly she turned her attention to the open first aid kit, rummaging around and picking up certain tools, picking up an antibiotic soap rubbing it over her hands, placing gloves on, all the while her calm voice explaining why Tobi scent was here and why she had no intention of allowing the girl to continue to believe she didn't need any help.

"Yea, Tobi and I live here. We work here, I feed him, we play together, we hunt together, and sometimes sleep together, but, I'm not sure if he's coming back tonight or tomorrow. Either way you won't last long. Then I'll have to explain to Tobi and your brother as to why there is a dead girl here. Not really a conversation I'd like to have and I doubt you want to be dead anytime soon."

Even though she smelled of her canine species her entire aroma was covered with the spotted feline's scent. Always he would rub against her in human or feline form, always making sure she was covered in his scent. As he explained in the park her scent wasn't as good as a cats and he had it in his odd deranged thinking that he was implying he 'owned' her. With her limited understanding about cats and their nature her own experience confirmed that he did indeed not own her at all, as much as he believed. She enjoyed his company and he was the only individual that did not attack her, but more importantly he was the first one to offer her a friendship. She didn't have friends before him and she hardly trusted anyone, but he was helping her overcome all those things at a painfully slow rate. Already she was slowly learning to trust and befriend Alexis and really the progress she made with her wouldn't have been as successful if it hadn't been for the spotted feline. Lifting her head some a faint grimace appeared on her mutilated face, blue-grey eyes narrowed as they held concern looking at the wound. Unbeknownst to the she-wolf, her new found power was keeping the WereCat from experiencing pain from her side, but it was causing the woman to flinch each time she breathed feeling that throbbing pain on her own side. Clenching her jaw she would inch closer to the woman, take the items she would need to perform the attempt to stich the wound closed. Softly she spoke, blue-grey eyes meeting the girl's dark ones, wanting to keep her focused on the matter at hand.

"Your wound is deep and it looks like you are going to need stiches. But you are in luck, if I stich you I promise you won't feel pain. If you don't believe me, then tell me, do you still feel pain from your wound?"

Truly she had no understanding as to why she was receiving all the pain the other was suffering from, but at least this would be much easier than forcing the girl to take some sort of pain medication. It wasn't hard to see that the other didn't trust her, hell, she hardly trusted the wounded girl, but part of having Alpha blood was to help those in need. Whether Nadya liked it or not- she was in need and there was someone willing to offer the girl some help.

I'd Rather Feel Pain Then Nothing At All
