The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.
Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.
Bartender Raylin Chike
Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.
Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

I alwyas feel safe when he's around and I know if I ever were to find myself in danger, somehow he would be there to save me. I don't know how I know that. I just do. Even now as I watch him watching me I know that he must wonder at my thoughts but I wonder when he might be reaching out, trying to actually read them as I know he can do. I almost think about employing my newest power to turn it off but I don't feel that odd prying feeling in the back of my skull so I let it be for now. There are some things I don't mind him knowing but I hate feeling like I'm an open book.
He says that I should get into more trouble then and I laugh lightly. "That can be arranged." I practically purr as I twist some hair by my ear.
I can tell his demeanor changes when I mention the prey he was just hunting. He almost looks sad that the creature could still be alive and maybe suffering. Perhaps he's not so cold as he pretends to be when it comes to killing. He says that I could be a distraction a little longer still and I smile, my eyes sparking with eagerness that he wants to spend time with me as much as I want to with him.
I can see the surprise in his eyes when I coax him closer with my curled finger but he does come and that in itself gives me a rush of power I'm not used to feeling. I like it. He tells me that he would be happy to relieve my tension, his eyes smoldering and I know he got the hint right away. His lips find mine and I return his deepening kiss with fervor, my hands kneading in his hair at the back of his neck. His fingers reach for mine and I smile, giving it a gentle squeeze as he leads me to the other alley.
We turn the corner and I look around but see only blood. No sign of the creature. I scowl thoughtfully and look at him, only to find him thoughtful as well. I'm about to say maybe we should try another alley but then I feel it rather than see it. The hairs at the back of my neck go up and as my adrenaline starts to rush, I pull that comfortable blanket of fear just close enough to use my powers, drawing up my shield around both of us as something large and angry hits it from behind. I turn, the bow already present in my other hand as I release Alexander in case he wants to use both hands, using my shield to block the beast and then push it outward, tossing the creature right back at the wall.
My bow comes up, an arrow already notched and ready to fly as I concentrate the shield around both Alexander and I, my gaze drawing to him momentarily to gauge his next move before I focus on the creature. I know somewhere deep in my mind that this is a Were and I know at the same time that it must have picked up that I am too. Of course that doesn't make us automatic friends but a Were doesn't usually team up with a hunter against other Were's. It's almost like a betrayal of your kind. Yet my hands don't shake or falter, waiting only for a sign that I need to step in, otherwise I'll gladly let him do his duty.
