West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

if these wings could fly for the rest of our lives
Okay, so I think I was starting to get this whole masks thing. Basically, it sounds like she'd met some truly awful people who lied to her. I mean, I wasn't naive enough to not think that some people were meanie heads who did bad things. I know they existed, but I tried to avoid them. Most of the people I'd met though were out right mean, they didn't lie about being mean only to be mean later. I wasn't quite sure what to do in that situation, I also honestly wasn't quite sure I'd even be able to tell the difference. Still, I was determined not to disappoint my third friend and so, I asked how to tell the difference and what I should do if I find one. A small frown crossed my lips in thought as she assured me I should merely follow my gut. My tummy? My tummy told me all sorts of things but I didn't think it was very good at distinguishing this kind of thing, I mean, I did end up here and my tummy didn't tell me anything except that it was hungry. Nom nom nom. Still, I figured it was best not to tell her that lest she worried about me or something and so I merely nodded, offering her a warm grin. "I'll do my best okay!?" I commented, also not telling her that really, my techniques would more be akin to OMG RUN FOR MY LIFE then anything as gracious as excusing myself and fighting. I was totallllyy not a fighter. Ha, it was funny to even think about me fighting. Hahaha.

Oh well, enough about that, I'm vastly more interested in getting to know my new friend! I bet she's super cool and super smart and does all sorts of cool things. I mean, she's already super pretty! She seems to find my infinite questions amusing and I was a bit too keen to flash her a warm smile, my head bobbing as she began to offer her answers. Green huh? Green was a good color. I liked green. I bet we both look good in green. I was, however, kind of surprised to learn that she hadn't the faintest idea of when her birthday was - didn't most people know about their birthdays? Then again, Papa had told me about some people like us that just stay as weres forever! I guess maybe they wouldn't know about birthdays but she was human...hm...well this was a conundrum. Still, I guess it'd be rude to ask that kind of thing huh? "Well, happy soon to be birthday then! What do you want for your birthday?"After all, Christmas was right around the corner and, if she was my new found friend, we had to celebrate right?! With gifts! It only seems proper! Besiddeess, I LOVE birthday celebrations and I bet she hasn't had a good one in some time, maybe I'm wrong but, even if I was I was determined to give her the best one ever anyways!

It was that question on what she liked to do that caused the girl to pause, and inquisitively I can't help but to tilt my head as I watch her. The answer she finally presents me with, however, was altogether surprising. I never pegged her for a reader. I like reading. Then again, I like doing a lot of things. "That was awfully nice of Raven! I think I like her. Congratulations on learning how though! It's really hard! You must be proud of yourself!" I couldn't imagine going my whole life without reading! The poor girl! All the books she must have missed out on! I'm quickly distracted about this though, when she asks me about the city and she assures me she understands because she's from a forest. HEYYY. "Oh my god, really?! I am too!" I exclaim, entirely excited to have found ANOTHER AWESOME THING we have in common. "Okay, well I mean, it's not fully a forest. We lived in this little tiny town outside of LangTang National Park but we'd go there like all the time to spend time with all the animals there and my mom was an animal activist and my Dad's an Ecological Researcher so he was allll about that forest." Like seriously, all about the forest. There's no doubt that it's that which makes me like the park so much and yet, the sound of her little cafe sounds really nice too. "Oh! I'd like to go there! Maybe I could come visit you on your break at work one day?" I say, perhaps a bit too hopefully. I mean, I've never had this modern coffee (we had black and um...black...and oh! Coffee with a bit of milk!), I've heard so much about it, I can't wait to try it!
