West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

years I've walked in the coldest winds
from sorrow and pain I find my strength
the more I hurt, the clearer I see.

There was some sort of undeniable pull to the sleek curves and sharp pointed edges of that Bugatti that had drawn the were-king in the moment his emerald eyes had laid upon that blue vehicle. He'd had to have it and so, quite simply, he took it in the fashion that he so habitually did when it came to those sports cars. The vehicle had since been stripped of any identifying markers, the plates replaced and all tracks covered in such a way that the automobile almost appeared to have been purchased by the man. Those he knew within that industry were very very good at their job. He could hardly help that warm simper that crossed his features at the sound of veritable delight that left Tobias lips. He had waited months to show the man his acquisition - the boy, he was assured, was the only one truly capable of appreciating that vehicle. He followed in the wake of his friend, approaching that vehicle to eye it with that same sort of appraising gaze. He watched as Tobias' hand reached out to gingerly caress the blue paint of that hood. It was with a hint in his voice that the Alpha uttered of the speeds at which that vehicle could hit, claiming that this one was faster than even that Aventador they so often preferred over all else within their collection.

He watched as Tobias pointed towards that Bugatti, his words broken and fractured as they so often were before that finger turned to point to the Aventador in turn. Tetradore's head bobbed before he reached down to pat that Bugatti. "This one is faster than, all of them." He continued, gesturing lightly to all the vehicles in the room. Their new supercar easily took the cake for sheer speed, a point Tetradore was not only willing to make but to also test in every facet. For now, however, he was wholly willing to distract the boy with a promise he'd made months upon months ago - to teach him how to drive. Or rather, to atleast attempt. He was fairly certain Tobias had the motor skills necessary for the man to actually steer a vehicle. It was, however, the danger of putting such a large piece of machinery and trusting that everyone came out of the experience safe and sound. He was certain Raven would have forbid him from ever placing Tobias behind the wheel and yet, the Alpha firmly believed in not coddling the deviant. He needed to know how to live beyond that sanctuary that Tetradore provided to them all.

It was with a small motion that Tetradore led the way towards that Honda, inviting the boy to hop into the passenger seat with that look of glee upon his features. That distinct delight became all the more apparent the closer they came to that airstrip, that long, dark, flat, empty land entirely inviting considering the rather peculiar driving situation Tetradore was about to place them within. Slowly, the vehicle came to a stop, the car placed in park and turned off before Tetradore got out of that car, exchanging seats with the young man. Softly, he exhauled as he settled into that passenger seat, placing that seatbelt protectively over it only to watch Tobias' feet near immediately press down on that accelerator. His eyebrow rose, his arms crossing over his chest as he leaned back within the vehicle, watching as the boy started pressing random buttons in an effort to prompt that vehicle to do something. He was hardly surprised when, several moments later, Tobias gave up altogether only to huff at the car with discontent. "That's because you started pressing buttons before I told you to do anything." He stated in a rather blunt fashion.

"I am going to tell you what everything does and only once I am sure you understand, do you actually get to drive the car. This is important Tobias, if you drive a vehicle without knowing what you're doing, anyone who is in the car with you can get badly hurt or die and there will be no coming back from it.Do you understand?" There was a certain firmness to his tone, the man fully intending to impress upon his best friend the importance of some level of caution. He reached over to flip off the windshield wipers and yet, Tetradore remained entirely determined to teach his friend how to work that vehicle. He leaned over to lightly tap Tobias foot upon that gas pedal, glancing up at the boy in the process. "This is the gas pedal, this makes the car go. You have to be gentle with it though, Tobias. Touch it like it's a woman, like it's Raven. You touch Raven too hard and she doesn't like it - right? This baby is just like that. She'll react to the slightest of touches." He leaned further over to direct Tobias foot to the other pedal. "This one right here is break. It makes the car stop. You never ever ever touch both pedals at the same time. The car will start screaming and crying and we don't like that." There was, he was assured, a reason that vehicles tended to be given the same pronoun as women and, for tonight, Tetradore was going to take full advantage of that.

He shifted so he was settled up in his seat, his finger shifted towards the dashboard and the small needle that showed the amount of gas. "This shows you how much energy your car has. You have to bring it home before it hits this line. If it hits there, she'll go to sleep no matter where she is and she won't wake up. We have to make sure to put more energy in her so if she gets to this line, you have to let me know." He pointed to the line one third of the way above that flat empty line. This one, this one, and this one should always stay in the middle like this. If they go high enough to hit this line, or go low enough to hit this one, stop the car immediately. If you don't, she will die and you will not get another car." His emerald eyes eyed the fellow quite pointedly before moving towards that speedometer, "This one tells you how fast you are going. For tonight, you are not allowed to go past this number." He pointed at the forty miles per hour mark. "If you can hit that without making the car unhappy or killing us....you get to go faster." In the same way, the man went over those small little switches on the steering wheel to turn right or left and to turn on the windshield wipers, ensuring that Tobias was able to repeat everything he'd said before even considering taking that car out of park. "All right...but your foot on the break...slowly...but push it down till it's all the way down." He glanced down at the boy's foot, making sure it was indeed where he'd expected it to be before, tentatively, Tetradore shifted that gear into drive. "Okay, slowly let your foot off the break and the car should start to move." Don't let him down Tobias - he was so not ready to die again.
