West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

That near playfully offered assurance that he was likely unable to stop with those genteel touches was perhaps entirely correct, Tobias affording her a near dubious look all the same. The woman, it seemed, knowing him far too well. Neither he nor that other half ever inclined to stop doing anything they enjoyed- whether that was consuming every sweet treat in the Ark or affording his mate that rarely seen affection. He enjoyed those touches and that simple closeness that came with that embrace. A part of him relishing in even the mere scent of her as they stood within that store. Tobias hardly caring for who might see them in that singular moment. An older woman whom passed them affording them a grin all the same. That young couple in love, it seemed, readily charming those around them. A far cry from those usual outings Raven was surely subject too. Tobias assured he spent most of the time chasing people away from them else, apparently, hijacking everything in the store. The utter shock upon Raven's features at he moved to offer to pay for that outfit seeing that surprise find his own. Did he never offer to pay for anything? Why did he keep asking Tetradore for money if that was the case? Where was he putting the money? Hell, where was he putting all the things he apparently stole? God, he was going to get himself arrested. Maybe he had already done that. Had Raven ever had to bail him out of jail? Tobias frowning slightly in that sudden consideration. Would it really be that surprising to consider that Tetradore or himself had likely been jailed before? He was mostly sure those cars that rested in the hull of that ship were all entirely illegal and yet, really, even he couldn't help the grin that found his lips at the consideration of those machines. The both of them, it seemed, equally prone to the love of those cars.

That wallet was plucked from his fingers a moment later, another shopping chuckling slightly at that perplexed look on the young mans features as Raven strode to that line with her new purchases. Tobias inclined to wonder if this was how all of those boyfriends were given to feel watching their girlfriends line up with their credit cards in hand. That grin tugging at his lips all the same. After all, he couldn't exactly blame her could he? He'd spent the entirety of their relationship making her pay for them- if he'd even given her the chance. Tobias mostly sure he's spent a large part of their relationship shoplifting half the things he wanted. Really it was a miracle he wasn't banned from more stores then he already was. Did people know he was probably giving them stolen Christmas gifts every year? Maybe they had simply come to expect it. The shaggy haired man allowing his eyes to roll at his own nonsense behaviour. Tobias reaching to take back his wallet as Raven paid for those clothes before joining her outside the store to make their way back to the studio now that the woman was properly prepared. He had hardly anticipated the way she lent upward to whisper towards him then, Raven quietly offering those sizes to the once more perplexed looking man. Were they a secret? Why was she whispering? Tobias, it seemed, unaware of at least several of those 'rules' that seemed to be known by women alone.

"Oh. Very well."

If such a thing was a secret then he would be sure to keep it that way. The man committing those sizes to memory all the same as they returned to that photography studio. Tobias content to wait outside with that photographer, the man offering several of those ideas to the woman as to just what he thought Raven might like before the sound of that door opening saw those dark eyes return to Raven then. That new outfit entirely flattering on her figure, that compliment already on his lips. Raven nearly beaming at those words as he chuckled softly, his hand fitting in hers to lead the way into that studio. That smile came so naturally to him, so easily, Tobias well aware of his other sides near inability to offer that gesture. The Leopard lingering close to his mate if only to attempt to encourage her to relax in turn. The more photographs they took the more Raven slowly seemed to find herself comfortable. Tobias dipping his head in that last moment to kiss her cheek, that camera capturing that genuine, natural surprise and delight such a gesture brought. The photographer keen to direct them in several more of those poses before taking those final shots. Tobias content to guide Raven from his lap then and back to that counter. Several of those photos laid out on that table for them to few. Tobias allowing his golden gaze to run over them.

Raven deserved to have photos just like this he was sure. She deserved to have proof of that love and affection and simple adoration to look at any time she desired. Shouldn't she have at least one picture to show other people off him where he looked....normal? Tobias dreading to think what images off him existed already and yet there was little need to fret over it now. Those ones they had taken today surely acceptable for Raven to hang in their room or show people who asked after the man she was marrying. Tobias almost given to wonder if that other half would...recognise himself, or them, or- whatever they were. The man frowning slightly before pushing the thought aside, Asking Raven which ones she liked out of that collection. The man hardly surprised at that portrait she chose, his hand reaching to take it from her. His arms wrapped around her almost protectively in that picture, that look almost possessive and yet that....happiness was clear in both their features.

"This is a good choice. We should frame this one."

He plucked that wallet from the back pocket off his jeans then. Handing over those bills to the woman for her work as she set about boxing and wrapping those photographs. Tobias content to assure they had at least one copy of most of them, leaving Raven plenty to look over any time she desired it. The woman's soft utterance that it was a good gift stealing that grin to his lips.

"I'm glad you like it. I wanted to give you something to keep- for when I'm not around."

His hand reached for her own then, entwining his fingers with her own before leading her from that studio and back out into that brightly lit mall. Tobias hardly hurried in any sense, the man willing enough to simply enjoy that afternoon out with his mate.

"Have we made any decision for where we are getting married?"

It was a sudden question and yet it had been on his mind all the same. Location nothing short of important after all. Tobias pausing by those escalators then. Raven's earlier mention of wanting to get him something in turn hardly forgotten even if he was assured he hardly needed it.

"Was there anything else you wanted to get here?"
