The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.
Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.
Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

It was hardly like Vitani to find herself on this part of the city that she'd only recently come across and just so happened to decide on settling within. At least, for the time being. The mansion she'd purchased was, in her eyes, nothing more than a modest and quaint little residence. It was lacking in the extravagancy that her estate in Bora Bora wielded so flawlessly, and yet as was true to Vitani's nature, she'd grown bored of basking in that perfect sunline on those sun-bleached sands, the rhythmic crashing of foam-crested waves rolling like distant thunder as they collided with the shore. Even her home in Verona was larger and more suiting to the woman's liking, but in the same moment, the whole purpose of having come to this part of the world she had yet to travel across was to see if there was anything worth staying around for. So far, she'd found very little of interest, though she would be lying if she didn't find some sort of entertainment out of the Italian man that she'd lured in that night at The Voodoo Room. Ah, and then there was dear James. The man that thought he could command armies, and yet the poor thing was so unused to being defied. Well, she would be his first, and that gave her a surprising amount of devious pleasure. Like a cat having found a favorite plaything, she was relatively certain she would be keeping the British man around, simply so she might test those boundaries further. She also couldn't deny that the man was terribly delicious when it came to those more... intimate endeavors â€" which of course was the only true reason she was likely to see if she might be able to draw him back. After all, Vitani had yet to come across many men that could resist that allure she wielded with such near-flawless grace. Ah, but it was a near-impossible task to try and predict just what that ever-fickle taste of hers might crave next. There was little about the fae woman that did not appeal to the quarry that she hunted on those nights where she felt like playing those favorite games of hers. What's more, she had a practically sinful talent for playing whichever part she felt would best suit the time, place, and subject. She had yet to find any one particular visage that could serve as a master key to those various doors she was already able to easily pick the locks on. That was alright, though. She enjoyed watching those that were more cautious, more uncertain of just how perfect she might appear as they would eye her to try and figure out just what was real and what might not be. That being said, every huntress would miss her mark at one point or another. And, over the span of nearly two centuries, Vitani would consider that small handful of men who'd been able to evade her far from a dent in her almost perfect success rate. After all, perfection and precision took time, and she had all the time in the world to only become better â€" if such a thing were even possible at this point in her immortal life. Not even the fae woman would dare to proclaim that she had been born to be the femme fatale she was now, riding comfortably in the back of that limousine with one leg elegantly crossed over the other in that floor length satin dress blacker than a moonless night that hung off those slender shoulders, hands veiled by satin gloves melting down to her elbows laid perfectly one over the other as they rested on her knee. Everything about the woman bespoke of poise and sophistication, even the way that her coy smile dances across those blush pink lips as pale peridot eyes dressed perfectly in black mascara and eyeliner watch idly as they drive through those lowly, drug-ridden streets of West Sacrosanct. Today, she was after something different. She knew entirely too well that there wouldn't back a man in this part of the city that could come close to what intrigued her, that she would find herself curious enough during those fleeting twilight hours as she would tempt that terribly temporary plaything between her sheets of the finest Egyptian silks. No, she was prowling those less savory avenues for something a bit more... useful than a man to entertain herself with. As the Lincoln takes that left turn onto Vegas Boulevard, each side flanked by abandoned buildings boarded up with the futile intentions of keeping the homeless and heroine addicted fools from hunkering down and out of sight of law enforcement - which frankly seemed to care less about the poverty that bled through this side of the concrete jungle - who might just so happen to venture those quiet, eerie streets, those pale green eyes are quick to spot a lone figure."Stop here, Fredrick", she demands in those silken smooth lyrics. Almost immediately, the limousine pulls over to the sidewalk and comes to a smooth stop. The man is quick to exist from the driver seat as he moves over to open that door, Vitani wasting no time in stepping one slender legs out, black stiletto clicking against the cracked pavement. She appears in all her stunning glory, flawlessly styled hair cascading over her right shoulder down to her waist. Running a single black glove over that silken hair, the fae woman looked like a celebrity on wrong part of town, and yet that knowing smirk upon those plush lips told the world that she knew exactly where she was. He pauses there on the sidewalk, flicking the ash from thathe cigarette as brilliant amber eyes trailed along those womanly curves as the fae woman strides over to him, hips swaying with every graceful step that brought her closer in time for her sharpened hearing to catch those gravelled tones. She gives the man - clearly fae by those pointed ears she could see a mile away - a sultry smile as peridot eyes rove over his strong and muscled build, hardly surprised at his choice of attire yet finding it suiting all the same."You tell me", she purrs smoothly to him then as she looks up at the stranger from beneath those black lashes."What's someone like you doing on Peasant Place, hmm?", she queries in a voice like milk and honey, continuing to study the fae man from beneath that mask of mild intrigue, clearly fearless in the small distance barely lingers between them now. She is silent as she watches him, cool and curious if just maybe he might prove to be that which she sought. |
