The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.
Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.
Bartender Raylin Chike
Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.
Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

This day just kept getting better and better. She could have cursed herself out for allowing her guard to falter, that illusion of an oasis of safety was exactly that, an illusion. How her previous alpha would certainly not allow her to have a life outside of him, as though that domineering asshole couldn't just let her go. She had more than satisfied her father's debt. A rational person would have just let sleeping wolves lie, but he was no ordinary wolf and driven by nothing more than a selfish greed and delusions of grandeur, his own views were entirely skewed. That power quickly getting to his head, corroding and devouring any shards of what could have been a decent man, that corruption spread wide as it did deep.
How that barely crosses her mind now in the heat of battle. Those intent driven wolves that encircle her try to overwhelm her to the point where she didn't know where that assault would come next. Even with those singing arrows that met their mark, making them falter she still got it from all angles. Every puncture those teeth made more lava spew from her to meet the damp sands below, that blood barely existent anymore as it was completely consumed by that thick, liquid fire. It almost creates a protective moat around the bestial creature that was Mira. That silken obsidian fur entirely enveloped in charred molten, crackling to the lava just beneath her skin. It was a strange sensation to not have skin containing whatever was inside. However, he could hardly help his own surprise as he got a mouthful of lava when he bit through her flesh. That sound that escapes his lips was that from fury and pain, that smell all but overpowering.
It wasn't long before she was launched at again. Those wolves seemed to keep coming like an abominable force. That ash she wielded began to swirl relentlessly then, around him as she sends that billowing ash to meet his severely burnt but agape mouth. The more he gasped for breath, the more his lungs filled with that suffocating powdery toxic substance. She was soon met with a stifled choking sound, gasping as that ash so diligently flooded at once in a swarm into his aching lungs. He fell with a helpless thud to the ground.
However, the rusty hued wolf took full advantage of Mira's fixated concentration as he crashes into her like a torpedo through that ash... that echo of his snarling voice assaulted her mind then. "Die bitch..." He seethed. She recognized him, the look in his eyes claimed this was personal. What lies had that previous alpha spilt?
Those blazing golden molten eyes narrow in response with a sheer overpowering resolve, that fight within her far from smothered as she tries to dodge that assault. "Not tonight." Mira replied with a startling firmness, that anger welling in her chest. No way she was going to die on the salty pale sands of the beach, nor was she going to get dragged back there to that sterile prison to fulfil her role as a slave to work off her father's debt that never seemed to go away. That sudden impact hit her hip, which caused her to stumble slightly, her bitten leg crumpling beneath her. A growl rips from her charred black lips, meeting him with snapping jaws he desperately tries to avoid considering the spittle of lava that floods her mouth.
The sand beneath her feet have been blackened and scorched for at least an 8 ft radius, that lava still steadily flowing from her as if creating a moat. It was difficult to control in the heat of battle, that force of nature no one being could ever control completely.
That desperate warning sent down that line that bonded pack to one another, an intricate but solidified bond all the same. How she wanted to fight along side Alexis, in an effort to keep her safe. How Mira could hardly stifle that sensation. Little did she know that she was no defenseless little fox who all but ignored her plea to run. That voice that rang down clearly through the bond had struck a chord within Mira's molten heart. Hearing those words probably meant far more than the other woman could have realized and yet there was so little time to truly digest it, both swept away in their own respective battles.
That scuffle between Alexis and her attackers were unfortunately nothing more than background noise as Mira's near bestial lava form was assaulted yet again, the last of her own assaulters. This one was big, he had an arrow sticking right out of his flank and yet... it didn't seem to bother him.
However, when that ferocious lunge occurred.. he seemed to bounce off something, those teeth striking against something see through but immovable. Was that Alexis' power? She would need to ask her of it if they made it out whole. That sharp whistle drew even Mira's attention to Alexis, noting she was trying to draw the wolves away from Mira. It was impossible to tell how many lurked in those shadows... how many were yet to come.
When Mira turned back she heard the sound of maniacal barking as more came along the beach. A perfect streamline of too many. Shit.
Where the fuck were they coming from? Why didn't they come all at once? Questions.. Too many questions she didn't have the answers too. That anxiety only floods her lava heart more. That substance only spilling more... that ash began to whip around her... poised and ready to assault.
That massive rust hued wolf seemed to smile, even in that form it was disturbing. Mira lunched for him when suddenly she is encased in blackness. She couldn't see another past her nose, was this happening to Alexis too? Regardless, Mira drew a sea air filled breath as she took a step forward to meet that assault that was soon to come.
