Although Vampires and Weres were different some believed that the two were connected. And that wasn't just because in Bram Stoker's novel Dracula, the vampire was capable of turning into a Werewolf. Both had animalistic tendencies. One was cursed to live for eternity and the other would only live for a typical lifespan. One could move around freely during the night and day while the other was forced to only roam at night. One could eat any kind of food where the other lived on blood. There were a lot of differences between the two, but there were a few similarities. She had heard about Vampires taking Weres as their personal pets or even guards when they slept during the day. Although she had seen with Azrael that those rumors she heard were actually real. Using Weres for their blood, pet, or worse. Maybe there was one other thing on the list that separated the two supernatural creatures â€" one still allowed their humanity to influence them.
Raven was glad to hear that Alexis hadn't stopped reading the book she let her borrow. She knew it was a bit of an odd book, but it was a rather good and entertaining story. Best part was that there was a female character, Catherine...Catherine 2. The author took elements from both the perfect maiden and the femme fatale to create a new kind of heroine, a beautiful strong-willed, light-hearted and fierce woman that knew herself. The woman was able to think constructively for herself about how she felt and what she wanted. It was something she admired and she assumed Alexis would to...once she finished it. Turning her head to focus on her golden tea set she used her telekinesis to prepare the girl her own cup of tea. Letting the cup float over towards her, she allowed the were-fox to grab it. With the weather being so nice outside the lupine knew the others in their little family were running about, enjoying it. Although she was pleased to spend some time with Alexis it had been a rather rough winter that the girl would surely enjoy being outside soaking up the sun than being here within this room. Her accusation that she was in here for the same reason as Alexis was answered with a light chuckle and shake of her head.
Gesturing for the woman to come and sit in the chair on the other side of the table she reopened her book looking down at the old pages to find the spot she last looked at. As Alexis walked past her, there was a familiar scent on her that belonged to a male she hardly knew. The scent belonged to a Dark Hunter that was walking beside Alexis the night of her wedding. His name started with an A and he didn't talk much, but Alexis seemed quite happy with him. Turning the page, without lifting her eyes, she casually asked her friend a simple question.
