After her first fight within the ring she had understood just why Tobias rarely ever had his presence within the ring. Other Weres constantly proclaimed that they could defeat the wildcat if given the chance and only those that were worthy and capable of moving through the tournament had that honor. Before their scrimmage she had been capable of roaming through the Ark unnoticed by anyone but only to the few that understood her connection to the spotted creature. Hardly anyone approached her, knowing full well that she already belonged to someone, and it was in their best interest to be far away from her. Sadly though after the fight she was quite well known and she had to slip past those that wanted to challenge her be it one-on-one or tag team. She wasn't interested and each time she politely turned them down it only grew to the others frustration at her unwillingness. The Hyena was helpful when it came to making the others back down and having Tobias around her attacking anyone that came far too close was even better, but that didn't completely stop anyone from trying. It got worse and so she would enter the ring, but only under the condition it was with Tobias and she had plenty of days to rest and heal â€" away from the others.
Tonight she moved within the Ark feeling quite satisfied with herself. A few days earlier she had entered the ring and allowed their guests to witness a rare fight from herself and Tobias as they took down their three paired challengers. As Tobias promised he had allowed her to rest and heal within the Ark without allowing anyone else to know about her terrible secret. A were was supposed to heal properly and quickly, but for her it took a long time. If anyone knew it could be used against her and her pack. Slipping through the crowds she heard the occasional approval cheers, and a few others warn her about new challengers coming to face her, but she ignored them. Instead of lounging within the Ark and reading her book, curled up against Tobias within their hammock, she was given the task to patrol the borders. It needed to be done and she didn't mind to do it. With winter gone and spring coming up she was excited to roam the grounds with pleasant weather for a change. Thrusting her shoulder into the door she gave a slight nod to the Hyena hearing him wish her luck before she started off with a run down the dock.
Quietly she moved through the docks and entered the twist and turns of the dark alleyways. Her ebony skull raised as she inhaled the tangy scent of the salt water mixed with the dirt, soot, and spring air. Her grey trimmed tail swayed side to side in a calm manner. As she moved within the West District she had not caught sight or scent that would cause her to be alarmed for herself and her pack's safety. Rounding around the corner she found herself in a familiar area. Lucian's old warehouse remained bordered and locked away for the outsiders to not get in. Inside were items she and Tobias had left behind after she was accepted into his pack and allowed to stay within the Ark. Though as she entered one of the dark alleyways she caught the sound of a soft cry and instantly her form went still as both ears pointed forward on full alert. The vixen's scent was caught on the wind and instantly she padded towards the sound of the sadden woman. With a gentle whimper the canine found the smaller canine curled up between abandoned boxes. Her voice would gently pressed into the fox's mind, her head lowered at the level of the curled up fox.
"Alexis, what is wrong?"
