The sun should have been up by now and Amelia shouls have been tucked away in her cubby at her home. She shouldn't be out and about this time of morning. But she was, and there was nothing Amelia could do about that fact except try her best to get home before the UV rays burned holes into her perfect skin. Even though Amelia was running late, she was very thankful for the dark and gloomy clouds. They hid some of the UV rays which allowed her to get to her car quickly before burning her skin.
Amelia was driving slowly through the streets of Sacrosanct, enjoying seeing what the world was like during the daytime. It wasn't often that Amelia got to enjoy such a luxury. But today, it was an unfortunate even that led to a rather odd end to her day.
The clouds threatened to scream with thunder as they opened and rain began to fall. It was a heavy rain, one that made Amelia glad she was already in her vehicle. She did not like to be wet and this rain was certainly going to leave her soaked if she were walking the streets. Speaking of the streets, there was no one out and about except one strange young woman walking with what seemed like a bag of food in her hands. She had no umbrella, no rain boots, no coat, nothing. What a strange sight indeed.
Pulling up to the side of the road, Amelia watched her closely as she moved into the park and seated herself on a nearby park bench. While she tried to sit herself out of the rain, it was of no use. Amelia wondered just why she was out in this weather anyway. She ought to be inside where she could be warm and dry. There wasn't much that Amelia could do except offer her an umbrella at a minimum. Pulling the umbrella from the back seat, she laid it on the passenger seat.
In an instant, her body seemed to relax against the seat, her eyes closing. For a moment, her body looked peaceful. At the same time, a form appeared in front of the damp girl. Since Amelia could not go to her in person because she was a vampire, she could at least use her astral projection to at least get her to the girl in spirit.
As she appeared in front of the young girl, Amelia gave her a soft smile, trying not to freak her out too much. After all, it wasn't every day that someone just appeared in front of you out of nowhere. "Excuse me, I couldn't help but notice that you are wet...and cold. Please, allow me to offer you an umbrella. I have it in the front seat of my car. It's no trouble." While the statement seemed rather odd, Amelia had to try. She may seem like a pedophile luring a child at the promise of candy, she really did mean good. She was a concerned citizen. Unfortunately for her, she looked like a creepy stalker.
