The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Nadya was grateful that they were able to make it to her office without calling attention to themselves. It would have been difficult to manage the panic that surely would have ensued if the customers had seen. Nadya had waited until her children were safely taken from the room before peeling back the robe to inspect the wounds on Edie. Her gaze flickered up to Edie's face at her question after them. "Yeah...their names are Micah and Isabel." The twins had only been with her because Sam had been frantic as of late making Nadya pull back on using her as a babysitter. She wished desperately for her friend to talk to her and tell her what was bothering her but the wall that came up at the mention simply made Nadya drop it to give her time. "They're the reason I have to think before I do something. It's not just my life that's affected now." She sighed softly, "You'll understand when you have kids." Nadya didn't want to get into the topic of leaving and joining packs...now wasn't the time.
The woman pursed her lips as Edie rambled on her excuses of just why Nadya should heal her. Using Frost as her reason to get Nadya to take pity on her was a bit low. Then again there was nothing to connect Nadya to what happened to Edie should she decide not to heal her. But, no, that just wasn't who Nadya was. "Don't use Frost as an excuse again." Nadya gruffed slightly before she took Edie's chin in her hand and planted her lips to the Beta's. Immediately her healing ability unleashed and raced through the battered body of the Were, ceasing the flow of the blood, stitching up her wounds, and snapping bones back into place. Of course Nadya could have easily kissed the woman's hand or even forehead but where would the shock value be in that? Now the woman would see just how Nadya had healed Frost that day he sought her out. Nadya released Edie once the majority of her injuries were healed, leaving only those that her natural healing ability would be able to care for overnight.
"You owe me that drink now." Nadya eyed her handy work before seeming satisfied with it and leaning away from Edie now. She stepped away from the couch to grab a rag from the pile of children's things and dipping it into a glass of water before returning to Edie's side, handing over the rag for the woman to clean herself up a bit. "You and Frost can't make this a habit." If Aidan knew he would be furious. She was still Nightshade and couldn't be constantly healing Chimera. "Is your pack in the habit of being on the bad side of everyone? Frost got attacked by a Hunter and now you say some witch got you. My pack doesn't seem to have this problem. Maybe you should look into how you're handling your relations." If both Frost and Edie had the same personality in how they handled things, both having tendencies to extremes that brought other clans to attack them then it wouldn't be a safe place for Nadya to take the twins in to.
