The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

The young panther had all but disappeared in the vampire's life and yet, truth be told, he hardly mourned the loss. On the contrary, he had known from the beginning that their peculiar, but none the less enticing, relationship was destined to be as fleeting as were the numerous ones that had come before and had come after - well, at least until he'd found Dorian. Still, he had heard rumors of her, the intoxicating feline with whom he'd held such undeniable chemistry with. It had taken him some time to piece together that it was her, however. At first one of his meals had simply spoken of the burlesque and the dancers there, and then another had spoken of the owner and the way she had moved with such entrancing shift to her hips and beauty in her body. And then, finally, a third had finally uttered her name. It had caused him to pause that night, his own affinities momentarily slipped upon hearing those two simple syllables. She had been the first in this city to take any interest in him and vice versa. She had been his protege of sorts and, for some inexplicable reason, Sebastian felt entirely compelled to see her once again. How long had it been since then? It seemed like mere months but time was entirely irrelevant for the everlasting Englishman.
By the time Sebastian had fed for the night, the Cat's Meow had unexpectedly closed it's doors and yet, the vampire's keen bright blue eyes still detected a hint of light from beneath that door - one that suggested the employees, or perhaps the employer herself, was still within. It was that simple knowledge alone that saw him breeze past the 'Closed' sign, entirely certain that Nadya would not turn him away. The sound of music echoed from within the depths of the Burlesque, the song itself was something he hardly anticipated, given the current establishment. Still, they were closed. He made his way with relative ease towards the stage, leaning against the wall in a nonchalant fashion, choosing to remain in the darkness lest he interrupted the young woman on the stage. There was something different about her, of that he was all too aware of. Her body had changed since he had last seen her - it was a fact that perhaps only Sabastian might have so acutely noticed. After all, he remembered well what she felt like beneath him.
His head tilted to the side, his bright blue eyes remained entirely steadfast upon her as he watched her flow with the music. She seemed entirely at peace despite the notable concentration and then, suddenly, that dance changed to something he knew far better. Ah - the tango. The dance of seduction and how he had so mastered it! A small smirk crossed the man's features as he pushed himself from the wall, this time stepping out into the light that shone upon the dance floor, a singular hand held out to her for her taking. The sound of his name upon her lips only caused that smile to widen ever so slightly, the man presenting her with the slightest of bows. That forwardness, however, caused his eyebrow to raise ever so slightly before he shrugged, "Has it been?" He inquired, his head once again tilting introspectively to the side. Time, after all, flowed entirely different for the vampire then it did his mortal companion and yet, he was quick to brush such a quip aside. "I thought I would check in on you. Not excited to see me?" The vampire asked, entirely amused by the way in which he was regarded. With those nights between them, he had expected to be received with a bit more warmth ."Would you like to dance, Nadya? The Tango is meant for more than just yourself." His voice was soft as he held out that hand to her once again, all the while entirely sure she would take it. After all, it wasn't every day someone well practiced in such an art was so easily found.
