East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

Now that the threat was eliminated it left the feral wolf a bit puzzled on what to do. By no means was this side of her social or accepting of others. Rather it preferred to be alone. However, she rather enjoyed the company of the raven-haired woman finding her presence a good thing. The spotted cat that she found herself rather fond with, enjoyed allowing him close. As for the larger black cat, well, she tolerated him...for now. It was the smaller black she-wolf before her that she was quite unfamiliar with. Wolves, to her, were bad. Their presence brought her nothing bit pain and fear. This wolf before her was not a part of her former pack nor was she a part of her pack. Yet she had the smell of the green-eyed black cat. Just the mere thought of him caused the acid mark he placed upon her neck to twinge, the girl shaking her head to relive herself of the discomfort and memory that came with it. She would not harm this wolf, but she would watch her with a careful eye. Although she was curious. Why would he be near one that was not of pack? What was she to him?

Placing her muzzle against the she-wolf's side her ears twitched back, feeling how the other's body twinge when she put pressure on there. Her dial turned slightly to take notice of the other wolf, understanding in a way, that maybe she should back away. Grey ears would fold back slightly in an apologetic manner. It didn't bother her at all when the other got a bit too close for comfort. Seeing how she was wounded she could hardly do her any harm. Wagging her tail slightly she was pleased to see how the other waged her tail in return. Lowering her head slightly she was momentarily distracted by a common rat crawling over the dead Dark Hunter. She noticed how the other came closer, but she was far more interested in the rat, not knowing the other's intention. It was until she felt the pain in her cheek intensify, did her blue-grey eyes slide back to see the wolf yanking the blade out of her cheek. A sharp whine came out of the giant wolf, the girl moving backwards, snarling in clear discomfort. One massive paw rubbed frantically against her bloodied muzzle. Black lips pulled back threateningly at the other not pleased with her at all.

Blue-grey eyes narrowed as another low growl was released, the she-wolf unable to make up her mind still. The pain was brief, but gone. Of course her cheek hurt, but it wasn't as bad as before. Still thinking about the black panther's scent on the she-wolf that kept her from attacking her. Shaking her head to and fro, taking another step back, and the feral creature began to shrink. Returning back to her normal size, Raven could feel the other side of her go back into the dark caverns of her mind, lurking and waiting as always until it was sprung out once more. For a moment she was dizzy, confused her eyes scanned the scene before her. The Dark Hunter that had been chasing her was dead. The other wolf appeared harm, and she could feel the sharp sting in her cheek when she lowered her lips to cover her teeth. Not fully comprehending what was going on, but knowing something terrible must have happened. Tentatively she approached the other wolf, her ears falling back in an apologetic manner her soft voice holding a worried tone.

"I...I didn't hurt you, did I?"
