The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Sebastian Ellington-Aragona
The darkness of that dance club was a welcoming embrace to the nocturnal creature. It was the exact sort of place the vampire had once frequented, the thrum of the music, that sweaty swaying of bodies so close. This had been his very domain, the sort of place his affinities so thrived. Those dark, lonely corners were where he fed, that liquor lacing his system till he all but stumbled to whatever hotel he'd acquired for the evening. How things had so changed in those short few years since he had last seen that ever-enticing vixen. There was a certain sort of confidence within the Italian Prince as he led the way towards that bar in the same fashion he had hundreds of times before with hundreds of other women. His voice was altogether soft in her ear, just barely heard over the hum of that music as he inquired for her drink order for the night. She was, he was certain, the exact sort of woman who was capable of what had once been regarded as a man's drink. A small gesture of his hand was all that was required to snag the attention of the bartender on duty and, soon enough, those drinks were placed before them, ready for the taking.
It was with beverage in hand that Sebastian turned towards her, only to motion towards one of those circular booths on the back corner, that lounge provided the perfect sort of nook that he so innately sought. His deep, cerulean irises briefly met those brighter colored ones of her own as his fingers intertwined within her own, the vampire entirely keen to lead the woman towards that spot with but a teasing tone on his lips. He hardly anticipated any sort of opposition from the woman and yet, it pleased him all the same, the way her petite figure moved with such grace to settle within that booth. His gaze followed her hips, the Englishman entirely content to merely appreciate that feminine poise. Sebastian settled at her size, his gaze only briefly glanced up towards those very individuals that so diligently offered the royal their constant vigilance. It was only once their backs were turned to him, affording them some level of privacy that Sebastian's attention returned to the young woman, only to find her re-positioning with her legs draped over his own lap. Such a position, although surprising, was hardly unliked.
Sebastian's hand gingerly settled upon the young woman's legs, only to sip on that liquor in his tumbler. His navy irises, however, remained wholly steadfast upon her as she glanced up at him over the rim of her own glass. That very look alone held a sort of anticipation within it, the kind akin to that silence before a storm. Sebastian watched as she nursed that beverage with persistent attentiveness, the sort that made him consider just how desperately she seemed to desire an escape from whatever haunted her. It was hardly within his nature to inquire after what had occurred to her more than he already had. His own drink was hardly indulged quite to the same extent, after all, he could hardly return home in any sort of drunken stupor. A soft sound of amusement left the vampire's lips at her insistence that, next time, it might be wise to order far more liquor than he had previously seen to purchase for her. Really, he suspected by the end of the night he might be forced to walk her home, at least to ensure she arrived there safely. He was hardly opposed to the idea, however, after all, alcohol tended to make his own wants easier to achieve, and yet, so too did they make him hesitate all the more in indulging on his own beverage.
That swish of her hair caused his nose to twitch ever so slightly, the vampire distinctly aware of that scent he had come to associate with Carolina alone. The sight of that pale flesh around her neck caused his tongue to flick across that favored right fang. How she so tempted him! It was the sweet siren call of her voice that caused those thoughts of blood to momentarily waylay, though, for how long still remained to be seen. A smirk crossed Sebastian's features at that very promise that he had made her.
