East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

I'm about to make my own way, heaven help me keep my faith

The brunette girl will be honest, despite Serafina's generosity of opening up her home to the currently homeless witch as the bright, blue eyed girl allowed her home to be renovated after the fire she unintentionally caused ravaged it, this really wasn't the ideal living situation for either of them. Aqua eyes look around the room trying to find something to wear. She finds within her duffle bag (as the brunette witch has still refused to unpack, desperate to think she wouldn't be here that long) a longer red sweater as the day appeared that it was going to be slightly chilly, so with a sweater on she most likely would not need a jacket. Dark wash skinny jeans slide easily over her slender frame and the sable haired young woman is able to find a pair of ankle length socks in her bag that keep her feet snug before they are zipped away in a pair brown boots that reach to about two inches below the knee. A proper fall outfit if you were to ask Kathryn. She lets her sable hair cascade down her back in those very loose waves, running a hand through those locks just once to keep the part from falling through the middle. She grabs her bag with a spell book inside it and heads out the door

When she steps outside a chilled breeze assaults her and messes those sable tresses only for a moment before letting them fall back against her in not quite the same way they had been before. She closes those sky blue eyes against the breeze, falling underneath those long, dark lashes of hers. The golden rays of the afternoon sun gently caress her skin like a lover desperate for touch. It warms her head through long, sable hair, warming all her bones. Kathryn tucks a piece of sable hair behind her ear as she opens those slate eyes once more, watching the world move past her as she walked. The young witch could not recall when she had last felt this contentment. The silver-blue eyed brunette wasn't sure where she should go first. Dark lashes blink back against the sunlight, there were so many options for a day like this, she could go to the coffee shop, perhaps to the park, maybe out to breakfast. A smile crosses those pretty feminine features. Kathryn runs a hand through long, silken, sable tresses as she continues walking, wondering perhaps where the day may take her.

The rustling leaves catch those silver blue eyes before they return to look where she is walking. As a cool breeze reaches her, moving and tangling through her dark hair, that is when she decides perhaps she would get a coffee today and turns in the direction of Inner Sanctum. The dark haired witch wonders briefly how often and how many times you must go to a place such as a coffee shop before you become a regular, because Kathryn felt that she was certainly on her way to gaining that title. She brushes a stand of dark chocolate colored hair behind her ear as she smiles to herself.

As inner Sanctum appears before her, Kathryn makes her way to the door. The young witch grasps the handle of the door and swings it open, silver blue eyes taking in the sights of coffee shop as that familiar aroma of fresh brewed coffee reaches her nostrils and it comforts the young witch nearly instantly, grin on her face widening. She approaches the counter, waiting behind a few people, though the line goes by quickly, Inner Sanctum had a knack for providing both a quick and qualitative service it would seem. Once she reaches the counter Kathryn gives them a smile, those silver blue eyes standing stark against her face. "Could I get a chai latte, please? With almond milk if its no trouble," she says her order before paying and stepping aside for the next person to give their order. It is then that she scans the room looking for a table or a seat to settle herself down and read her book. Inner Sanctum was surprisingly busy today and Kathryn needed a somewhat secluded spot to read the spell book, hopefully where no one would be looking over her shoulder.

An easy smile fills up the corners of her face as she spots an area by the couches where no one seemed to be seated. Those wide blue depths narrowing in on the spot, but those same sky blue eyes widen suddenly as a gentleman sits down in the exact spot she was planning on sitting in. Frustration burns the fire under her skin and she feels herself grow warm for a second before she instantly calms, realizing there was no way the man could have known that she was planning on sitting there, besides there was an arm chair next to him and though it wouldn't be as secluded as she wished, it would do in a pinch.

She approaches the man reading, bright blue eyes look towards before gesturing towards the chair. "Are you saving this seat?" She asks with a smile.
